Hi-TecHi Tec Men's Quadra Classic Sports Shoes - Hiking

Just purchased my husbands fourth pair. He has bought expensive walking shoes previously but they fell apart. These are great for a couple of years for dog walking and light hiking and he says they’re very comfortable and never given him a blister.

My husband has had variations on this Hi-Tec shoe for years. He lives in them!

The trainers fit well and are comfortable to wear all day. Eventually one or more lace holes will fail and the seams where the upper meets the sole will start to fray and develop holes - at least with the general wear that I subject them to over about a year. The soles remain grippy and intact throughout - it's just the base of the uppers that starts to let go. However, for one to have adequate trainers for a year at around £40 is not a bad deal, so I'm on my third or fourth pair of these Hi-Tec Quadras now.

These are the third pair of these shoes I have purchased. They are great and I wear them most of the time for social, walking, gardening etc. They last a long time and are well made. I will continue to buy in the future. The price was very fair. I highly recommend them. The only downside is that they are not waterproof but the manufacture never claims that they are.

Bought as a replacement for an older pair of well-worn Hi-Tec shoes, the advertised claim about being waterproof was a draw. Except they're not. Not even slightly. The first wet grass I walked through wearing them resulted in soaked socks within minutes. I decided to keep them anyway and have treated them with a waterproofing spray.

I've bought several pairs of trainers online over the last year or so and despite being a size 9, most have been tight and never loosen with wear. I even had my feet measured again to make sure I was indeed a 9 which I am.After reading several reviews and found comments saying that these were comfortable with plenty of room I decided to buy. I plan on wearing primarily for walking where they will replace a pair of old trainers that have seen better days.They are indeed comfortable and fit perfectly... Happy with my purchase.

Although supposedly for hiking they have only lasted 9 months and now leak. I only wear them to walk my dog round where I live, mostly pavement and am very dissapointed with the quality

If you want a boot that is extremely comfortable from the off with no real breaking in required then this is great. It also fit well as I am a size 13 (wide) UK and they are just right. BUT I have owned two pairs now and find the same issues.... both wore out after 10-12 months developing cracks and small holes in the soles that let water in. If you want a bigger issue than those two things.... there's next to no grip in non-dry conditions. I have slipped on wet pavements as well as mud and frost and snow. They are ok for walking to the shop but not for hiking IMO.

Ich habe das Vorgängermodell 4 Jahre lang getragen und war begeistert das es nun ein neues Modell gibt.Die Schuhe haben iene sehr gute Qualität und passten auf anhieb wie erwartet. Sie sind sehr bequem und man kann lange in ihnen laufen. Das Material ist widerstandsfähig gegen Wasser und Schmutz.Ein rundum klasse Schuh den ich sehr empfehlen kann.

Ein gut zu tragender Schuh, etwas schwerer wie gewöhnliche Sportschuhe. Solide verarbeitet, formstabil und etwas gewöhnungs bedürftig in der Schnürung.

Der Schuh ist preiswert und in einer sehr guten Qualität. Habe ihn seit einem Monat täglich an und kann keine Mängel feststellen.

Rausnehmbare Sohle die tatsächlich Auch den Namen verdient. Ich nutze diese Marke schon ein paar Jahre und bin mit der Qualität und Preis einverstanden. Lustig das die deutschen das nicht hin bekommen. Ich laufe pro Tag ca 10 bis 12 km. Und das für den Job. Im Schnitt halten die dann 18 Monate. Also bitte mal selbst nach rechnen. Gerne wieder

Ich fasse mich kurz:Ich trage seit 6-7 Jahren keine anderen Schuhe mehr. Für mich sind sie perfekt.Preis-Leistung ist unschlagbar.
