Airfix A04059 Bristol Blenheim MK IF Military Plastic Model Kit (1:72 Scale)

I have always liked Airfix products. A friendly enough skill level for those new yo model assembly and enough detail for more experienced builders. Their selection of British aircraft pays tribute to a field forgotten or unknown to many.

Great new kit. I have built many old Airffix Blenheim 4s kits, which were good.. This new Airfix Blenheim 1 is a delightful kit:superb molding,transfers (decals) and instructions.Highly recommendedLong live mother Airfix!

A much needed modern kit in this scale to replace the short run MPM kit. While I like this kit (built 3 already) it is not without its problems with fit around the front cockpit and bomb bay areas. Following several build reviews commenting on the importance of careful dry fitting because the kits tolerances are very tight, I've continually had to sand and fill this aspect of the kit assembly..... which is a frustrating pain in the rear end. Hence 4 stars.

Great and quick build. This was one of my first kits and I had some troubles. Would recommend a skill level 1 or 2 to beginners.

新しいエアフィックスのシリーズですが、英国メーカーらしいというか今となってはエアフィックス以外、一体どこの誰が出す?というアイテムだと思います。本キット同様のMK.1Fを今から40数年前にハセガワ・フロックの1/72キットで作った記憶があります。やっぱりこれはとても地味な飛行機ですよね。ブレニムといえば加藤部隊長が最期に戦った相手がブレニムでしたが、その昔雑誌のイラストで描かれていたのはこのMK.1タイプではなく、段付き風防の爆撃機タイプらしいものになっていたと記憶しています。さて一体どちらだったのでしょう。　本キットについてですが、お約束のカルトグラフ製デカールが付属。ラウンデイル外側のイエローの発色が素晴らしいものになっています。いつも思うのですが、どうして国産のデカール印刷はこのようなデカールにならないのか?とても残念に思っています。それにしてもイタリアのカルトグラフさんはとても良い仕事してますね。ここのところの新製品はかつてのフロッグでのみリリースされていたものまで含まれているので、それだけでも大いに楽しませてくれています。AIRFIXの今後も大変楽しみです。
