It does not make you buff. So that kind of sucks. But it does help in a variety of ways. I used it hiking, camping and mostly for my early morning motorcycle and bicycle rides. It does make me look like E.T. or some strange nun-like weirdo, but hell, keeps the sun from making my redneck redder and keeps me warm. It can ward off some bugs, and looks groovy as a headband (though with a shaved head, just makes me weirder looking) and you can even use it as an eye mask at night.

I purchased this because I've been riding a motorcycle a lot lately and wanted something that would keep my hair from getting all crazy in the helmet. A normal hat would be too thick, but this works great. It's thin, but it still provides some warmth by covering my neck, head, and face (I like to wear the balaclava configuration).I'm curious to see what other uses for it I come up with as the weather around me improves and I am doing more outdoor activities. For now, though, it's perfect for what I need.

Well it’s good I guess, bought it in 2014 and it lasted me a good amount of time. It’s pretty thin though so keep that in mind. Mine pulled up a bit in washes and eventually kinda broke down. That being said it’s been years since I bought it and I used it fairly frequently during Covid when there was no masks to be found.

Highly functional, so simple it seems someone else should have thought of it sooner. Great to wear around your neck and forget about it. I love to wear mine sleeping while camping, it's the perfect little extra to keep your neck and face a touch warmer.

well made and just plain handy for all sorts of trail related tasks. Can't keep track of all the things it has been used for on the golf course or on hiking trails. taking the traditional bandana one better. Don't leave home without it.

Seems like a lot to pay for a simple piece of fabric, but these are the best. I spent a month in Fairbanks, Alaska in -30 to -10, outside all day, and you need something to cover your nose. Doesn't have to be much, but need something. I went through a ski mask and two face mask things, and the Buff thing was the best. It lets you breath without restricting your breath too much, like the ski mask did, and it isn't abrasive on your nose. I have sensitive skin and I don't need a seam or stitching or rough fabric wearing a red mark on the bridge of my nose all day.

Was expecting more for the price.
