Honestly, this made my life easier. I have several cory cats, all food especially the shrimp pellets seem to get eaten by the substrate rather than the fish since they disintegrate too easily. (Then water changes took forever) i leave this in my aquarium at all times and just add food with forceps to make sure they fall in the plate and at first they took a while to find their food but now they seem to go back to the plate every now and then to check if there is new food there. The food stays in the plate and everything gets eaten. The food waste has gone down significantly and while vacuuming the substrate i have noticed how much cleaner it is in comparison.

I'm giving these 5 stars because they do what they're supposed to do and they're good quality sturdy little dishes. Perfect for your little bottom feeders. However, I did stop using them as I found that method a bit of a pain when I wanted to remove the dish and food left behind would float out. I ended up buying a different type of shrimp feeder that worked out better for me.

How did my pleco's survive? This is the item you never knew you needed. This saves on food and is a very social restaurant for all my bottom dwellers to enjoy.

This item is too small for the price! I wanted one so fast shipped that’s why I bought this one. I’ve seen others for $5. This is too small.
