Adjustable brightness and motion detection is quick with great range.You can set a single light bright enough so that you can use the restroom in the middle of the night or grab a midnight snack from the kitchen with ease. We own a 120 year old house, so outlets were put in many years after the house was built, and they must have been very expensive to install, since there aren't many of them.The house had an addition put on, so the rooms were reconfigured at least once in 120 years.So when you walk into some rooms, the light switch is not by the doorway, it might be across the room. So we either need to leave lights on all of the time, or walk through a dark room to turn the lights on.When I saw these, I thought they would be perfect, since I can set the brightness level to one of 5 settings, and the motion sensor will pick up our movement in the doorway, and turn the light on. To select the brightness level, you put it to ON, select how bright you want it, and then set the light to AUTO, so you can have the motion sensor work.These do actually work too! When we get to the doorway, the sensor picks us up, and turns the light on. Then once we are no longer moving around, the light turns itself off.Our garage has a small room for the furnace and yard equipment, but no overhead light. So I put one in the furnace room, so when I'm looking for some yard equipment I can see what I need. It's perfect!One thing we didn't know when we bought them...if you turn a bright light on, such as an overhead light, these mini lights will turn off. But once the overhead light gets turned off, these turn back on. Which is exactly what they should do.The fact they are led lights helps to keep them cooler, and uses less electricity.I bought a 6 pack of the warm white lights, and I could use at least 6 more.

It works best when approaching it head on. Then just kind of an observation is that the night light does not turn on when the lights are already on but if you turn on the rooms lights after the night light turns on the nightlight will stay on till it’s timer runs out.That being said I’ve learned the best placement of these lights and I love having them where I put them.

These little lights have 5 brightness settings and a great range of motion detection. At the highest setting they light up the area really well (such as my bathroom sink area). At first I felt like they stayed on too long (90 sec), however, now that I am used to them I prefer them because I don't have to turn on a light when I need to do something really quickly (like getting a midnight snack). I'm really impressed with how large of detection is. They are small enough to just use one socket and leave the other one available.

We've got these things in use all over the house. They work great. The motion detection even picks up our little 7lb dog that likes to travel between different family members rooms in the middle of the night. That's the real reason we got these lights - he was having trouble at night with his 12 year old eyes making it through a dark house from moms room to grandpa's room, but these lights are working out great for him. They activate as he walks past them lighting his way right through the house from the basement to the upstairs bedrooms. Yeah - we bought 8 of them for this LOL - he's a spoiled dog!

These night lights came in a package of six. I've placed four of them in bedrooms and the kitchen. They work very well. They turn on when you're about 6 feet away and turn off when they don't sense motion for a minute.The only problem I have is the unit is oriented horizontally. I have an electrical outlet that has a light switch right next to it. The night light is so wide that it makes flipping the light switch difficult. But for a single electrical outlet these lights work great.

I've tried many different types of night lights and you seem to be the best. They are more sensitive than others as far as motion detection, and I like that you can set the brightness by touching the side button. They also don't take up a whole outlet so you can still plug things in. The brightest setting makes a lot of light for such a small light. I would buy these again.

1- Brightness is Excellent2- Bad:ON is always ON 24 hrs, ON should have been ambient sensitive.What’s the power consumption of one light??3- Bad:AUTO should have been ambient sensitive. with or without motion sensor.I got the product today. I am checking it out for 24 hours and then will decide if it’s good for me.

Motion Activated night lights are not an easy thing to come by these days. So when I saw these I grabbed a six pack of them. Thankfully they work exactly as described. You can set it to "ON" Where the light will always be on when a low level of light is detected, or you can set it to "AUTO" Where the night light only comes on when it detects motion. This feature is very important if you don't want the night light on constantly as soon as the sun goes down, or as soon as you turn the overhead lights off. I tested the sensitivity and it picked my motion up from about 8 feet away (which is perfect), and it stays on for 90 seconds (1 & A Half Minutes) . The next cool feature is you can adjust the brightness to 5 different levels by simply touching a button on the end of the night light. The brightest level is just perfect to light up my hallway when I have to get up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. I also put two of them in my kitchen to light things up to just the perfect level for when I get up in the middle of the night to get a glass of water. Very clever little night lights.

Great lights, love that I don't need to have night lights on all night and only when they detect motion.Even better though is the company sent a card that said to email them for a mystery gift, they sent a really nice chef's knife, way better quality gift than I was expecting. Great company, I'd give 10 stars if I could. They went above and beyond.

These lights are so handy! Buying a pack of six was definitely a good idea. We have them in our bathrooms, hallways, closets and even the kitchen. Great way to save power and keep yourself from being shocked by bright lights when it’s not needed at night timePros-good range of brightness (hold button down and then it flashes when it’s at max/min brightness)-just plug in and go!-on/off switch-good price for value-small, sleek-colour of light has a nice warm yellow to it-only takes up one socketCons-not always sensitive to turn on if there are any obstructions in the way (works best when it’s completely dark)-could have built in plug so that it doesn’t take up a socket

We purchased the 6-pack and replaced the old light sensor night lights that lit when dark and the entire night. We place it in the master washrooms so it only lights up when we are close to it and the room remained dark while we are sleeping. It helps me navigate and avoid trip over when I get up to use the washroom at night. We have reduced the frequencies of using the regular light switches in the rooms where these lights are placed and saved on electricity bills.
