Shut to start off this drain is very very good for the price, I needed a drain in a snap and this is one of the first that came up. For the price this rain is awesome. It is very easy to use and definitely worth the price. I would say if you’re looking for something that will last you a very long time this is the thing to get. I had a very old lever drain that rusted and actually snapped. Although there might be a few dings here and there for the price this is excellent works like a charm and I would definitely recommend to someone that’s looking for a tub drain. There’s two ways to drain you can unscrew the top segment or you can use the push feature. I will say the push feature does take a while, but I give it credit for the fact that it still works. You don’t need putty because of the silicone seal which was definitely a good manufacturing spec. For the money I recommend.

I decided to give this a try because many other drain assemblies labeled "brushed nickel" looked anything but. I was pleasantly surprised to find a male/female threaded adapter, allowing for a more universal fit.I've installed more plumbing than I care to think of, from roughing in to fixture installation. This may have been the most difficult drain I've installed! Due to the "press and pop" design, there wasn't a way to use a drain wrench, and the stopper spins freely. This all means that once a certain point, it's snug enough to stop tightening with any ease, but not tight enough to hold water.I did ultimately manage to brute force it to the point of functioning, and it works fantastic! My lower rating is solely due to the absolute pain of installation.

I made this purchase because the only drain plugs found at the local stores looked like poor quality. The drain is very attractive and functional. I just want to mention that you can use the pop-up feature to drain the tub, OR, you can unscrew the pop-up to drain faster. (new purchase, update to follow if any new developments occur).

Nice looking and solid construction. Plan to buy a couple more.

Very easy to install however the finish came off almost immediately.
