Great book!
The author writes about her journey of starting a business(rodial, nip+fab), how she started her business from scratch. She talks about her own experiences with celebrities, events and much more!

Has some toxic behaviours which she is encouraging.
There are some toxic parts of the book that she encourages. She says that family life is important yet hardly discusses her family unless its included in business. She says your business should be your passion so you shouldn't have any hobbies, a long weekend off or a long holiday (just go for a nap and you'll be fine). She is advocating putting everything before yourself and your health (which doesn't lead to success if you're tired and burnt out all the time).I think some people who are under 20 or have no clue what being an business owner is like, they would find some good tips in this book...maybe. She focuses on the high end, million dollar lifestyle but not any of the negative and bad things that can happen as a business owner.I really wanted to love this book, it had been in my cart for a long time so I was so excited. I couldn't even finish it.

OK.
It's OK. A mix of tips for success and Maria's personal story which seems to focus more on the glamorous side of the business and accomplishments and how to market your brand and yourself. I didn't think there was anything of real depth, there was no mention of how she balances work with family life (she has two children). I think its targeted more towards the younger reader.

One of the best books I have ever read. Inspirational and real.
One of the best books I have ever read. Not only has it inspired me in SO many aspects of my life, but it has pushed me and gave me the confidence to start looking into creating my own business I have always wanted.Maria is such an inspiration to women with a dream and going full steam ahead towards that dream. I am now onto the next book ‘Make It Happen’ and continuing my journey of creating my business. It is real. It is powerful. It is a must read.

This book with teach you difference between your job and passion.
A truly very inspiring book, which every girl can relate to.As we are in lock down due to COVID-19 it was a good time to sit down and reflect now that maternity it over, what's next for me, what I truly want to do next. I have a passion for beauty and skincare myself, not sure where to start, who can I to relate about my passion, my qualites my beliefs. I need to get some inspiration and motivation and then coincidentally Mrs Rodial instagaram screamed at me.Maria Hatzistefanis a normal young girl like you and me from a small town, not sure what job she truly wants, but has a dream and passion and chased it till it came reality. Like every normal girl, seeing models in magazine and beauty excited her.Mrs Rodial shares her real struggles, experiences, successes, failures and passion we can relate to about our everyday life. Not everything is glamour, hardwork, setbacks, rejections and patience are part of a successful journey. Believing in yourself, having passion, drive and resilience does pay off.If you love something it does not feel like a job, sacrifices like working past the 9-5 hours, working on weekends, no social life, sleepless nights are real experiences alot of young and successful women go through. Started small and got big and still going on to be big.I've read 4 chapters so far and as I've been reading "this is me" I say to myself. Can't wait to read more.Review by: beauty table london by Mariam Mughal

A lot about nothing
I read this after reading so many positive reviews. I don't really see the point of this book unless you are a fan of Nip and Fab/Rodials or Maria herself. It doesn't really provide many meaningful tips about business and lessons learnt. Maria holds her cards close to her chest about the business and her routes to 'success'. I wanted to love this book and only read it because of the steep price I paid for it.
