Sancte Diaboli had my heart and mind so twisted with secrets and revelations!
Days later and I STILL can't stop thinking about my Bran Bran, Saint and THAT ENDING!Sancte Diaboli is Part One of Brantley and Saint's duet and book 6 in The Elite Kings Club series by Amo Jones. Sancte Diaboli is is a full-length Dark Romance written in Dual POV, through our main characters, Brantley Vitiosis and Saint Dea Vitiosis.Sancte Diaboli picks up not far after Malum Part II ended, Bishop is wallowing in self-pity, Tillie misses her best friend and Madison is still hiding over the other side of the world. And Brantley is biding his time...Of the 6 books so far in The Elite Kings Series, Sancte Diaboli is my favourite of the series. I've been intrigued by Brantley since we met him in The Silver Swan and as the series continued my obsession with finding out what was going on behind his soulless eyes has grown. I feel like I've been waiting years for Brantley's story and to understand him.Brantley Vitiosis is The Elite Kings weapon, he's the Dark King, the one who has and shows no emotion. He's collected because nothing affects him and able to ask the difficult questions or challenge those in charge because no one and nothing can scare Bran Bran.Except Saint. Saint Dea Vitosis, is the light to Brantley's dark. She's his opposite in every way and the only person who manages to bring any level of emotion out of him. Brantley has kept Saint hidden away from almost everyone in his life, he won't let himself have her, but no one else can have her either. The dynamic between these two characters was so interesting to read because they were opposites, but seemed to fit into each other's lives so effortlessly. The sexual chemistry between them is palpable and the scenes between them are absolute FIRE! Saint brings out a side of Brantley that no one else in The Elite Kings has managed to do or even see.One of my favourite parts of this book in particular was the relationship between Saint and Bishop. Saint is the calm and collected piece that the boys and girls of The Elite Kings have been missing, and need, to balance out their circle. She has this magnetic personality that pulls in those around her and this level of empathy that helps her relate to all of them.Amo Jones absolutely slays me with her words. She must plan out every word, sentence, paragraph and chapter to have everything flow together so perfectly. It doesn't matter how dark or light she writes, every word is poetry and Sancte Diaboli was no different. This book had my heart and mind so twisted with secrets and revelations. At every turn I was rereading pages trying to work out what was happening next. Amo Jones is the Queen of secrets and cliff hangers, one of my favourite things about her writing is that she always keeps me guessing and I'm never able to work out what happens next. I've read the last chapter of this book three times and I still have no idea how what happened, happened!I am not so patiently waiting for Part two and all the answers!

loved being back with the Kings
Where do I start........ It was great to be back in The Elite Kings world, Sancte Diaboli picks up right where Malum Part 2 ended with Saint coming down the stairs in the Vitiosis mansion. As ever the book is filled with the typical King attitude, self assured behaviour, plot twists, mind blowing theories, and an abundance of sexual chemistry. A good portion of the book seemed to establish the world of The Kings with Saint, bringing her up to speed with what/who they are. The majority of the information isn't new of course but I understand why that process was needed. The book is seen through Saint's POV as well as Brantley's and the occasional chapter from Bishop. So what I enjoyed about the book was the relationships and the easy banter between The Kings, the quick wit and sass of Tillie, her and Nate still give me life. As I said the chemistry still leaps off the page, the possessiveness of the Kings still makes me weak at the knee's. Getting to know more about Brantley and what he went through was something I have been waiting for, for so long and he didn't disappoint. I love reading these books and never knowing where the story is going to go, expect the unexpected they say but I have no clue what the unexpected is, when it comes to Amo I just sit back and enjoy the ride. Bishop and Saint's relationship completely surprised me and we see a whole new side to him we haven't seen before and that gets a big thumbs up from me.What I didn't enjoy is a little harder to express, the novel didn't revolve around Brantley and Saint as much as I expected. I do believe this is because we still have to keep progressing the Madship storyline and Saint needs to be brought up to speed on everything within this generation of Kings so far. Brantley's kink - now the act itself doesn't bother me, it's the way it was written made me feel we were going full on PNR vibes and I wasn't a fan. Then towards the back of end of the story there is an aspect that is almost within a Fantasy trope territory and that isn't where I see this series going, that just confused me and I can't wrap my head around it at the moment. The first 75% of the book felt like coming home, playing in familiar territory. The last 25% is where things picked up speed and things were coming into play that give you all the feelings like there are new players to the game - The Gentlemen, and there is more going on that we aren't being clued into yet. From the ending of the book I know my instincts were spot on because what was that! A cliff hanger that has flipped everything upside down and where I thought my loyalties were may not be the best place to put them anymore.Overall I enjoyed Sancto Diaboli, as I mentioned above there were a few things that are niggling at me that stopped this book smacking me upside the head like the other 5 in the series have so far. That said I am eagerly anticipating the remaining books in the series without a shadow of a doubt.

"Flirting with Brantley would be like performing a séance"
I'm honestly blown away. The sixth instalment of The Elite Kings has me on the edge of my sofa. The ending, ruined me. I have had time to think it over and the possibilities are endless. I keep mulling over different concepts, what is going to happen.Do not get me started on the jaw drop lines. "Not that Heaven was where I belonged either, though I’m sure he thought so." I adore Saint. She shows the humanity we all assumed Brantley lost.I will say it was a slow book in comparison, reminded me of when we were discovering who silver swans were. It understandable but made it hard to read, I was disappointed to not get a darker glimpse of Brantleys mind. I didn't except to get a closed of version of him. But saying all that I've learnt to have zero conclusions of theories when it comes to Amo's books. She always throws in enough curve balls to leave you addicts & a little dizzy. This series is one of my favourites and with every reread I learn a little more. Amo's writing style in so unique. I love & hate it with equal measure, as her characters live rent free in my mind tormenting me. The mythology elements is incredible. To see some of the pieces from all the back to book one falling into place was devine to see. I did find strange how subdued some of the more outspoken characters were, but I release now that's all for effect. Like I said above Amo's writing is evil & every has its reason. We just done know it all yet. Thank you for another thought provoking book. For anyone who has read this already and needs a rant. Dark, sexy, mind blowing.....A book you won’t put down
“𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒌 𝒊𝒎 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒌,” I pause pinching his chin with my thumb and forefinger to bring his face lower to mine. “𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒆.” Saint to Brantley.I’ve been lucky enough to read some absolutely incredible stories over the years but Amo Jones just brings that fire like I’ve never experienced and Sancte Diaboli is no different.....We’ve all been waiting for the Enigma that is Brantley the brooding, dark, dangerous man we’ve all come to love and want to know. He’s secret the beautiful grey eyed Saint he wants to protect at all costs even from his family...I’ll tell you now this book was everything I wanted and everything your not prepared for the twists and turns looking through the eyes of each king getting to see what they want and how they feel Amo absolutely captured to perfection.I know this book was bringing Brantley & saint out in the open but I loved the bond between saint and bishop she is he’s light in the darkness she truly brought out what he holds close to his chest about madison and I think she’ll be the one who brings them back out of the pain they are both in.And yes this is Amo Jones so get ready for your mind to be broken wide open with delicious, dark, sexy, epic moments that will leave you wanting more but also wanting to go grab her and shake the living daylights out of her because OMG THE ENDING Literally screaming “OH HELL NO THATS IT”For now anyway.........😎 (yes it’s a 3 part series)THANK YOU My queen of darkness for yet another soul searching, heart breaking, mental torture I LOVED EVERY SECOND....🤍🖤

Well worth the wait
SANCTE DIABOLI: PART ONE (Devil's Saint, The Elite Kings Club #6)Amo JonesPOV:Dual Brantley & SaintO.M.G!!*swoons*It was great being back in the The Elite Kings Club dark, dangerous, sinister and enticing world again.Saint was only two years old when she came to live in the Vitiosis mansion, when a very young Brantley took to her, saved her, told to protect her and keep her existence a secret. From there he's done exactly that, and the connection between them is getting stronger, well on Saint's end anyway. Living the sheltered life, home schooled by private tutor's, endless TV and internet, credit card with no limit, quite intelligent, not forgetting her passion for gardening, her dogs and her snake. She's oblivious to her real identity. There's an auroa about her, you feel drawn to her. She's used to Brantley's attitude, she tests and pushes him. They're opposites, she's light, everything pure, while Brantley's dark, unapproachable, devilish style. When it comes to light about Saint's existence, the group can tell that there's a bond between them and that he's fiercely protective of her. But nothing else can become of them.Adjusting to the Kings world and their ways, it looks like Saint fits in really well. But there's something brewing in the background.Who's in the shadows? The girls, Tillie, Saint and Madison have a great bond. They have each other's backs. It's one great group. The banter between them all is brilliant.Does end in a cliffhanger. Can't wait for the next installment

OMG what a book!
I can't believe that cliff hanger ending!? Brantley's book was just epic, I love the fact that even though this is Brantley's story we still have Bishop and Maddies on going issues and also Nate and Tillie. I really want to see Maddie come back, I want to see the tough Bishop that we all love to hate and I think the Elite Kings enemy's need to see a united front.Brantley is one of the darkest of the kings and probably the scariest, he is so possessive of Saint, he's the perfect villain and hero all rolled into one! I just love how he fights his urges and feelings for Saint but ultimately gives in because he just can't resie who to trust anymore....it is so exciting!Seriously this book was just Brilliant and I can't wait to see what happens next.
