I will start by saying that I received the regular Baby K'TAN as a baby shower gift. It ran a little bit too snug to wear my normal size and the baby. The Baby was very unhappy getting in and out, and seemed uncomfortable sticking that close. At that time, the baby was only 3 weeks old, and going to be getting bigger by the day, so I don't actually agree with buying the size you normally wear in a t-shirt, unless you wear them very loose fitting. My husband and I both wear the same shirt size, and it was definitely a little too tight for both of us to carry with the baby.When I returned the product (thank you Amazon for being so awesome to work with on returns!!) I opted for the next size up, and the sport version.I'm very happy with this product!! It leaves enough room for my infant to ride in the kangaroo position, while being supported and comfortable. I also love the difference in the fabric, it's really much more lightweight and breathable for both myself and the baby! We have an Ergo baby carrier for longer, more support needed uses, but I love this wrap for quick grabbing and wrapping around the house and yard, and the ease of being able to carry it right in the diaper bag for whenever we need the snuggle on the go. It's very compact when stored in its own bag/band. We look forward to trying the other suggested positions as the baby grows.

I live in the south where it is hot most of the year. With my last baby, I used the regular cotton baby K'tan and loved it but couldn't wear it for more than a grocery trip in the summer without me and the baby sweating like crazy. This time around, I wanted a carrier that could use all day long around the house and during errands so that I would have my hands free to help my older children. This carrier has fit the bill. It breathes quite a bit more than the cotton version and feels a lot lighter. I still get warm while wearing the baby for a long time, partly because wearing a baby is like carrying around your own personal heater, but the warmth is much more bearable with this version of the K'tan. I also have a Ergo, but much prefer this carrier for the first year, as it keeps the baby closer to your chest, especially when bending down. The K'tan also allows a very young baby's head to be sort of tucked in to keep it supported. I am able to nurse in this carrier without much adjustment as long as I am wearing a top that is easily pulled down - it does take a little practice and I would recommend not attempting it until nursing has become established and comfortable for both you and the baby (perhaps around 6-8 weeks). I also find the carrier has been useful to calm my babies - they almost always fall asleep at some point. Pay close attention to the sizing. I am 5'4, 115 lbs and the XS works well for me even though in most things, I tend to buy a S. The fabric of this carrier is a bit slippery, which makes it easier to get on than the cotton one, but trickier to get the sash part to stay in place when it is needed. Not a big deal to me, but having to adjust it here and there may be annoying to some.

I purchased this wrap for a cooler summer alternative to my structured baby carrier, and have really had a great experience with it so far. I bought this for a slightly older baby - 10 months old - so don't have experience using it with a newborn.Pros:Fabric is very breathable. I could feel the breeze coming through when it was stretched to a single layer, so I was able to stay about as cool wearing my daughter as I feel carrying her. Still warm, but you'll always be toasty with a little furnace strapped to youColor was gorgeous - bright, just what I wantedEasy to use. It took me a few tries to get it really right, but I felt like I could use it right away without any help. Not nearly as intimidating as regular wrapsPortable. It folds up small enough that I can easily stick it under the stroller or in my diaper bag. The waist strap, which you use for the older baby carries, has a little drawstring pouch that you can use for storage. I just tied the ends of the strap and can wear it like a shoulder bag. Bonus: I can keep my phone in the pouch when I'm wearing her.Comfortable. I wore her for hours at an amusement park in mid-summer and we were both fine. It did a great job of distributing the weight so I didn't have a sore back like I sometimes do with other carriers. Some other reviewers had issues with pain, but I think it just needs to be adjusted properly.Cons:Sizing is a little tough. I read through everything and felt good about ordering a medium, but sent it back for a small.A little too stretchy. My daughter is a little older and more active, and with all of her stretching around and wiggling, paired with the stretchiness of the fabric, I had to adjust her several times to feel like she was secure. My sister has a cotton K'tan, and it doesn't seem to be as much of an issue.Some of the carries don't make sense. There are a few I haven't figured out comfortably, but I haven't watched any videos to figure them out. Maybe that will help.Overall, I love this carrier and use it almost exclusively for wearing her now. It's adaptable, comfortable, and cute!

I finally have my 2 hands back ! This carrier in itself makes life for mom and baby much easier ! Plus it’s easy of use, confortable, strechy and even looks good ! 10/10 would buy again !

I was looking for something like that since my baby was born.I've found lot of sling and had one but is so uncomfortable to wrap specially for me now...I'm going on holiday by plane and was looking for something more wearable and confy for both.I just opened now the package and tryed it. Soooooooo nice. Beautiful color and exactly my size!I will recomand this K'tan to my mums group

Already had the standard K'tan but both me and baby were getting too hot in it.This is excellent at keeping both of us cool in the sun and is much tighter than the standard one which means I don't have to keeping pulling down the cross at the back or redoing the separate band every 10 minutes.Excellent product and highly recommended from a babywearing Dad!

Easy to use, baby fits so snugly and stays warm. Instructions manual is also explained in an easy to understand method. Fabric is also very soft for both mother and child. Thank you!!
