Kitchen cart.....
Ok so...let me start by saying... The box came on time... It was a big one..which I expected... I was looking for something small but big enough to to fit a wall in my kitchen.. I didn't measure the wall but thank god it fit perfectly. The box it came in had everything separated neatly and package and labeled by letter fine.. The instructions where not good at all... You have to have a lot of patience..... It took me about 2 days only because I work late ... I really didn't have time.. But on a good day I could have done this in one day... I have to warn you before starting this... You have to buy extra nuts and bolts.. They don't send enough .. Check your supply that they give you and then go and buy extra...not handy at all I have to cut corners... But it worked out fine...this turned out to be a nice cart... The butcher block it comes with beautiful only thing is I wouldn't cut on it.. I bought a separate cutting board and leave it on top so it's easier to clean. I just happen to love it... I have pics.... The biggest thing is they just didn't give you enough to tools to put together.... And they warn you not to use an electric screw driver... I don't know why.. It worked for me....Just be warned you have to have a lot of patience with this... But in the end it's worth it... Take a look.... I think it was worth the money....

The only problem is that two of the casters (wheels) do not move easily and am concerned about the whole unit falling over if one pushes to hard. It has almost happened. Where may I find a source to get replacement casters? The unit is beautiful. The drawers are very generous. The shelves are a wonderful size. The shipping was just as promised. I have recommended this unit to others that have been impressed by it in my kitchen. My husband and I wonder why we didn't buy this sooner.

Agree with the previous review. Looks nice but is a pain to assemble and parts are cheap. It tooke me 4 hours to assemble the furniture with another person. The instructions are not clear, either complete.

Worst experience ever trying to put something together.
Worst experience ever trying to put something together. I’ve put two similar but smaller units of this type together recently and they were nowhere close to this much aggravation. I’ll never purchase this brand again.Quality control not very good, the head of the screws that hold on the casters are too small and the screws are of poor quality. One broke with little torque applied. I had to get washers to keep the screws from pulling through the holes in the caster mount.Several of the surfaces look like “B” stock items with marks, stains and such here and there. The pegs used to push parts together fit way too loosely and will not hold the parts together so that you can turn loose of what you have put together without it falling apart. I put bits of paper towel in the peg holes on most of them to give any kind of grip to keep them together. There are fine hair like fibers in the packaging that are irritating to the skin. The instructions are very poor. Two parts marked with wrong part number.Once put together it’s ok. Looks pretty good, casters don’t roll easily on carpet, not solidly sturdy, but, lots of storage and suits my needs.Pros Storage Space, Looks okCons Difficult assembly, quality control, not real sturdy

EDIT: Upped to 4 stars from 1, resolved some issues.
EDIT 12/22/21: Amazon sent another entire box of the item, and I removed the pieces I needed, then they came and picked up the box at no cost to me, so I was able to get the missing pieces. I added 4" tall black leveling casters, and they added stability and fixed allowed me to level the cart. I also added two 45 lb flat ruck weights to the bottom using flat galvanized pipe strapping and 2" wood screws, and they added an enormous amount of stability. I'm very satisfied with this cart now, -1 star for the trouble.1) MISSING PIECES: I received four parts labeled R the right side of the drawers, but only two labeled S the left side. Therefore, I can only complete 2 of 3 drawers. In the short term, I'm going to try to manufacture something to be able to install the third drawer I can't yet build using at least the provided drawer front for a consistent look.2) IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT VENDOR: I went through the product support link and called the vendor phone number and left a message. I haven't received a call back in a week. I tried going to the vendor's website (The Mezzanine Shoppe) and it says "Our customers count on our fast response to provide quick turnaround on their orders and prompt after sales service when required." So I emailed them, only to have the email bounce back. On closer inspection, the listed email address was different to than the mailto: hyperlink, so I manually typed in the email address and the email took a couple of days to bounce. So much for prompt after sales service. I tried contacting them from two different emails, and going to their Singapore website partner Buylateral and submitting a web form, but no dice.3) MISSING/MISLABELED PIECES: For the little spice rack on the side, I received two left sides, with one marked X and one marked Y. The Y part was supposed to be a right side part, but was mislabeled.4) MAGNETIC DOOR CATCH: The doors will not stay all the way closed without the magnetic door catch. Be sure to adjust it so that it's towards the front of the cabinet enough that the metal plates stick out a little from the frame in order for the doors to catch on it. EDIT: I installed a new one from Amazon, works perfectly.5) DAMAGED PARTS: Since the box was received in excellent condition, I was surprised to find one damaged part. The veneer of one of the drawer bottoms was chipped away. The pieced was still usable, and I put it chipped-side down to make it work.6) LONG SHIPPING TIME: It took several weeks to receive this item. The box was in very good shape upon arrival.7) STABILITY IS POOR WITHOUT WEIGHTING: If you lean on the table extension at all, this thing will tip easy, so I loaded the cabinet with tools/batteries/materials and it is pretty stable. Downside is the shelf in the cabinet is bowing greatly under the weight, so it will probably have to be replaced sooner than later. I'm not confident the base can handle the weight I've put in there the long-term, so my plan is to reinforce the base with some 3/4 hardwood and probable add some significant weights (I'm thinking about 90 lbs of iron) underneath it to keel it and reduce the likelihood of tipping. EDIT: Added two 45 lb flat ruck weights to the very bottom after installing new 4" leveling casters, and the cart is very stable.8) CASTERS: The casters don't allow leveling and my floor isn't level, so I ordered some leveling casters to replace the ones provided. Only two of the wheels lock, so there's a tendency to slide around when not loaded with weight. EDIT: Added black 4" tall leveling casters, and they work great!9) DRAWERS: I also don't like that the drawers are not full-extension.10) PUTTING TOGETHER: I had no trouble building this, being a veteran flat pack furniture builder, but it did take me a couple of hours just one person. There are more parts and more complex ways to put the parts together than your typical flat-pack.11) UNABLE TO RETURN: Since I glued everything together for stability, I don't see how I can take this apart and return it, given that the box itself is long gone in the trash. It'd be best if the vendor sent me the part S so I could finish the last drawer, and I'd up the star count for this review. I don't see any way to contact Amazon to get their help contacting the vendor. The system as-setup is not friendly to the situation where a part is missing but I can't reasonably return the whole item.12) SUMMARY:EDIT: After all the trouble, the cart is great now. Wish there wasn't so much trouble.
