Rust-Oleum7377.2.5 Combicolor Original, Superior Metal Protection, Direct To Rust, Chestnut brown-RAL 8011

The product arrived well packaged and sooner than I expected it.I am quite an experienced painter but unfortunately I found this very difficult to work with. It was for our garage door. If I put on too little it wouldn't spread, if I put on too much it ran. It's not a good job at all and if it wasn't for the fact that our car sits in front of it most of the time, I would have to sand it all off and start again with an alternative product. So I'm sorry to say that I cannot recommend it.

I've just finished painting a plastic coated front door. I used the small tin and two coats later there's still a third of a tin left. It is a thin consistency paint so drips a little if you overload the brush but I personally needed this consistency to cover the area easily. I used SLATE GREY and I am slightly disappointed as it is alot lighter than I thought it would be given its description and the colour on the front. Nevertheless the finish and end result outweighs this. I might go for dark grey if I can't live with it but I'm really happy and would recommend this for anyone painting a plastic coated door. After just one coat it would have been fine but I wanted to touch up a few places. It dries really quickly too. Have added a photo to help others. To note this was a dark blue painted door previously.

Fantastic paint, we rollered our camper van with this and looked like it was spray painted, 2 Tina did whole van!

Colour ended up being great match so close to as shown on website. Didn't realise was gloss finish was going for satin. I'm not the best painter and gloss particularly I struggle so had to work hard to avoid lots of runs but overall pleased. Able to get 3 coats out of the tin for garage door. Good coverage.

This is great stuff. Very easy to get a really good finish. I've painted a few things which have all turned out very nicely. Good coverage, no tendency to run and the finish is very uniform so even if you need to go back and touch up a few areas the paint looks like it all went on in one coat. It does take about 24 hours to fully dry, it still felt slightly tacky after 18.

I bought this to help disguise some minor rust appearing along the sills of a 12 year old car. Thanks to a marvellous bit of luck the light blue Rust-oleum was a very close match to the car's original paint colour. It was easy to apply and thanks to the close colour-match it looks great. More importantly, there is no sign of any rust re-appearing although it is still early days. Overall I am really impressed and happy to recommend it.

Feel this is really overpriced at nearly £19. Not a great finish to it coming from a decorator. I ordered dark brown and the colour is questionable at best. Wouldn't recommend.

Great service, however can only give four stars, the reason will have to see how this product turns out on my steel workshop roof, have tried many well known products but after at most 2 years were poor, if this product lasts longer will purchase much more, and from the same supplier.
