It says no chemical coating ....Such a lie. Followed instructions on seasoning a cast iron wok, but after the third round of heating a layer of coating came off which was like rubber or some sort of synthetic. If I going to be cooking in it, might have ingested some thing which might be potentially carcinogenic.What a disappointment.... the product should be pulled off the store for making false claims.A blatant lie..... stay away from it

That it has a cedar fitted lid with 2 well made utensils + heat handle. The hammered cooking surface is great. A grate insert would add a 'steam' level option. I really like it.

This is made to last. Take time to season it properly, there are lots of videos on line. Then maintain the seasoning as you would a cast iron pan. Yes, you have to lovingly keep that seasoning maintained after each use.It heats up fast and cools fast when removed from burner. A true wok for wok cooking. High heat, quick meals. Not a stew pot. Watch some videos if that sounds confusing.Cons: I’m a 60 year old lady, I find the weight a bit more than what I would love but that is par for the course. I wrapped the handle with butcher’s string because it was slippery. Cheap fix that made it great!I use this several times a week. My omelettes slide around like a Teflon pan but without chemicals leaching into my food. Stir fry, I’ll never go back to using a frying pan.
