theBalmClean and Green Powder Blush

I love all The Balm's packaging - they're just so pretty and fun. The blush itself is flattering - it blends well and you can either sheer it out or build it - depending on your personal preferences. The color is super flattering on me (I'm very fair) and looks flushed from within in a lovely way. The fact that it's clean, green beauty is a bonus

I had high hopes for this blush, but unfortunately the fallout is insane and when applied on the skin it looks very patchy. Not worth the price.

I ordered this blush in the Third Date color, and I am very pleased with it. This color looks natural and flattering on my fair skin tone. It is not too pink and not too orange. It goes on sheer, but has buildable color intensity and coverage. This blush has an average amount of staying power. It looks great for hours, but fades enough by the end of the day to require a touch up application. I like how this gives my face a healthy looking sun-kissed glow. The packaging has an interesting design. It’s basically a small and thin cardboard booklet that holds a little pan full of pressed powdered blush. The pan is removable so that it can be popped out and discarded once it’s all used up. The cardboard booklet can then be recycled. I like the retro vibe of the illustrated art that is on the cardboard packaging. I also like how the thin and compact size of this blush makes it easy to pack in small essential makeup bags. I don’t like how easily the blush pan becomes unattached and falls out of the cardboard packaging. It is annoying because I have to be careful not to hold the blush upside down when the cover is open or else it will drop onto the floor. Despite the packaging issue, I like the color and formula of this blush so much that I am giving it five stars.

This color is subtle and goes on lightly but is very pretty

I've been buying The Balm's blushes for years, my favorite being the Instain blush in Argyle (I highly recommend this line for its staying power and pigment). This is a little softer in terms of pigment I find, but the color does pickup well and doesn't fade. This is a very warm pink with some flecks of shimmer in it. I'm finding that I look better in cool tones pinks, but that's no fault of this blush. The color does appear to be true as shown in product photos.

I ordered the color ‘third date’ and it’s a very nice and neutral color, I imagine most skin tones would be able to wear this with no problem. I love that the ingredients are the good stuff and none of the yucky stuff. It’s also buildable for more color and coverage. I’m in my 50’s and usually avoid powder blushes because they seem to look dry and caky on my dry skin, but I can easily wear this one. It has just enough ‘glow within’ pigment that looks very soft and natural, not all glittery and shiny. Adorable packaging! Would make a great stocking stuffer type gift! 👍🏻

I am a fan of the Balm products. Their bronzer is my go-to and I've been using it for years so I thought it was about time to give one of their blushes a try. I got this in the Third Date color and it gives a really nice natural flush with just one swipe and is buildable if you want a little more blushed look. When I opened the package I was a little worried about the shimmer I could see in the blush but it actually goes on really nice and doesn't look all glittery. I like the packaging but do wish there was a mirror in the top lid. Their bronzer has this so maybe it's just because I'm used to having it but I often try to use a mirror that isn't there. :) I would definitely re-order this - great color and quality product!

I loved this product’s packaging, it is described as recyclable. Plus its clean ingredients.IT has a chic, pin up style.I found this product very affordable based on the good quality of this product. It comes in three different shades, the one I got is called “third date”Size is perfect, it fits my makeup bag, my purse. It can go anywhere with me and wont take too much space.I usually do not wear a lot of blush, and i usually pick very light color, but this shade is lovely.It is some sort of mix between bronzer and blush, and made my cheeks look great. Rosey tone, shimmery. Beautiful.It doesn’t wear off, it actually last very long, which is great, and you do not need to wear a lot of product to get a good tone on your cheeks.I am looking forward trying the other two shades.
