I've had this for a couple weeks now and it's doing ok. It's definitely steel...much better than the cheaper "carbon fiber" plastic ones. I like the weight behind it--it makes me feel stronger than I am when using it.It looks like stainless steel, but it's a garden tool, so it's expected to get dirty. Some of the welds on the joints are a little sloppy, but my standards there are high since I know a handful of welders. Overall, so far so good...it hasn't started to rust after a couple weeks of use like some of the other cheaper ones.

I found these garden tools to be some of the best I've purchased. Well worth the price, very heavy duty and durable.

This tool set is good looking, of sufficient strength, cleans easily, has good grips - and is just right for our needs. We use the tools mostly for planting - but also for cultivating our garden and flower beds. Our ground has a fair amount of clay and rock - and these tools work just fine! Would buy again!

These are solid, one piece tools that do not bend when used like many others. Highly recommended.

This is a very attractive and useful set. Just the right size, and the right mix of tools to tending to your plants. Nice ergonomic handles. An excellent value.

Won't break on you unless they rust. Steel all through from top to bottom. Hope they last for a long time, look like they will

A very good sturdy product, no rust, I believe they will last a long time at least till I lose them!

The quality feels great. I haven't actually used them yet.
