I was pleasantly surprised when these cross bars arrived. They are sturdy and solid. The boots are metal. The directions are terrible and one of the allen wrenches supplied did not fit the screws. Also, the directions and diagrams are hard to read because the print is small. I figured out from reading other reviews, that the "bump" the directions poorly describe, need to point towards the front of your vehicle. This reduces wind noise. The "bump" is a series of raised bars that run the length of your bars. I would purchase these again. I have not detected any road/wind noise and the bars look awesome on my vehicle.

These look nice and cross bars are solid but it has one fatal shortcoming - the hardware is soft trash. Do not use the hardware that comes with the box. You will be disappointed. Go to your local hardware store and upgrade the hardware to have nice racks.

Excellent roof rails, easy to install, no problem with screws as some have reported. Loaded up my rocked box attached to the rails and drove 1200 miles at 70 to 80 mph with no problem. Some wind noise if roof skylight was open, but very quiet if closed. I would purchase these again, and far cheaper than the same racks on GM sites.

Seems, looks, feels like a good product. Just installed yesterday (22 Aug 2022) and have not used it yet. But, the install went very smooth and easily done by one person. Only reason for not rating a 5 star is that I don't have any experience using it yet to offer feelings on how well it will support weight and how well the finish of the materials will hold up.

I have a 2020 GMC Yukon XL and these got installed in mere minutes. All parts were included, including bungees for when I put cargo up there. Great product at a fraction of the dealership’s price.
