Very easy to make a nice looking stone
The media could not be loaded. I used standard high strength 5,000 psi concrete mix from home depot. I mixed one bag at a time and filled the first half up with a small shovel. Then, I placed the other half with the hole in it over the first half shell and used zip ties to secure the whole thing together. I filled the rest of the mold up using my hands to fill it through the top hole (it's actually the bottom of the mold but of course when you are filling it the mold is upside down). Even after it looked full to the top I pushed out some water with my hand and added more concrete. I let it sit for 5 days, then cut the ties, tapped it with a rubber hammer, and out came a near perfect stone. It was very easy to separate. BE SURE YOU SPRAY BOTH HALVES ON THE INSIDE WITH SILICONE or concrete ease before pouring the concrete. I used silicone. The mold is very sturdy and I'm sure I could make at least 50 stones out of it if I ever wanted to. My only gripe is that the concrete fill hole could be a little smaller. That would make the stone more round on the bottom after it comes out of the mold. I made a 145lb stone just to see if I could lift it. No problem. But, I'm going to figure out how to make finger grooves on my next stone so I can grip it easier when picking it up (that's that hardest part for me). I know it's not regulation but my satisfaction is getting it over the 4 1/2 foot high frame I built. I just need a little extra help getting it from the ground to my thighs. Then it's up and over after that. I looked at the slater stone molds but these others are so much simpler to use in my opinion. That's why I went with them. I had fun making it and now using it. A 200# stone is my next goal.

Perfect
This wish I had discovered this product sooner in my atlas stone training. It’s much cheaper to buy these molds and build your own than buy pre-built. Make sure you watch a few YouTube tutorials to make sure you don’t screw up the process of building your stones. FYI, 250#s is just a guide. Not sure how I managed to get a 264# stone built.

Great Reusable Mold
Simple to use, but you need to make sure to seal the seam with a silicone caulk for best results. Easy to clean after the fact as well

Very easy to use
Makes a great finished product and very easy to use. I've loved having them as part of my equipment. Recommend buying small zip ties and WD40 with the mold.

But I wish y’all would put for info on how much concrete you actually need for each size!!!

Nice
I have the #145, #175, #215. Simple to make but a workout and if you’ve never dealt with concrete before it can be time consuming and messy. The only down side to these molds is that I worried about cracking the lip that sticks out, however, if you roll it to that point and lift it to the other side its no problem. Just make sure you buy a stone you know you can lift. I bought these three because I can simply add lead shot to them to make them heavier as needed.
