Amtech G4210 Laminate Floor and Furniture Repair Kit Floor & Furniture

Bought this to repair many cat scratches in a clear varnished oak engineered door. Cats had been climbing up and hanging on the ridges where the glass panels begin and used their hind legs to scratch the heck out of the door. This kit surprisingly worked amazingly and with a lot of time and patience it is really difficult to see the repairs. I mixed a couple of colours that closely matched to the door and on the fly applied to each scratch, finishing each one as I went. I’d recommend not filling everything at once but rather one at a time and finish off each one before moving on to the next. Not a great use of time but it’s best to scrape off and polish before it goes totally hard so try and hit it with the scraper quickly after you have filled it with the hot wax. I found if you leave it to go properly hard it tends to pop out of the repair completely.

Avoid !We repaired the floor. It might work well on furniture, but the repaired area of the floor attracts the dust and now it looks even worse(see photos)bthen before.We tried cleaning it few times, but after few days it goes dark again due to the amount of dust that gets stuck on it.

Despite reading some negative reviews this works perfectly with the batteries supplied and has been successfully used to repair/mask minor chips and scratches to furniture and a worktop. Overall am pleased with purchase, but range of coloured waxes included in the box was fairly limited so had to purchase more separately.

Used to patch up a small chip that broke my heart after days of floor laying. Now I can't see where the chip was. Seriously, I'm very impressed. I now look for oppertunities to use this as it's easy and works brilliantly. You can mix the colours if needed but most all types of floor colours are accommodated anyway. Highly recommend if you value your flooring.For reference I have a oak floor and one of the colours matches perfect to this. Even if it didn't I'd be confident I could mix the correct colour.Just don't be an idiot and touch the end to see how hot it gets, I did and I can tell you, extremely hot!

It rubbish and wast of my money time I would not recommend it to anyone look for different products
