The last container of ground nutmeg in my pantry was from the local dollar store. And it would be easy to think it wouldn't matter; that nutmeg is nutmeg. That line of thinking is grossly inaccurate, as proven by the quality of this nutmeg. First, it smells heavenly. Second, it tastes fantastic. Both points were striking, because the dollar-store nutmeg smelled okay and tasted okay. Nothing to "write home about." Thing about that is, the okay-ness transferred to whatever it was used in. Okay is fine... I guess. Heavenly and fantastic are far superior. The difference between the two is so vast as to border on unbelievable. The proof's in the bag, though. No more dollar-store nutmeg for me.

I actually ordered this product to use as a facial ..Using a tsp. to mix with 1 tps. plain yogurt .. Apply over face avoiding eyes of course.. leave on for 15 mins ..Rinse off with warm water.. It plumps up the skin!.. Leaves it soft.. I do it few times a week.. I'm sure it's also quite good used in cooking or for other things..

Excellent flavor and packaging. Used often as sleep aid. (1/4 teaspoon whisked into milk.) Definitely sleep deeper and less getting up, although it does not seem to make me sleepy to initiate sleep. Great flavor for cooking—-almost as good as fresh. Well packaged, and package reseals.

This nutmeg is wonderful. I was very pleasantly surprised when I smelled it for the first time. The smell is intense but it does not overpower the food I put it on.

Just what I was needing!

Ok so this product says nutmeg powder but mine can and it was whole nutmeg thankfully I have a coffee grinder (it’s a cheap one so you don’t need an expensive one to get the job done) and it grinned the whole nuts to powder. Overall though it’s a great product no complaints other than it came as whole nuts!
