Nice weighted spoon.
Purchased this for my uncle who has tremors in both hands. It’s difficult for him to hold a regular spoon or fork. This helps control his tremors and he is able to eat more confidently. He was very happy to receive it.

Handle is too thick
Bought for Parkinson's patient. It's too clumsy. Handle is round, not tapered. Spoon is quite big as well. He won't use it.

Works well
Our puppies chewed on the spoon we had and this one was a great replacement

Sharp nicked edges on spoon bowl
Disappointed that the bowl of the spoon had very sharp and nicked edges making it too sharp for an elderly person to use - worried it would cut a persons lips. Handle seemed nice and easy to hold so the concept is good-but just need to watch the quality of the metal spoon part. Note that the item is not returnable - I had to talk to customer service person to get a refund and then dispose of the spoon. If I had a buffer I could probably have buffed the edge to be usable but a person shouldn't have to do that to a new item. Too afraid to order again - don't want to have to go thru this if the quality is the same on the next one.

Order is not refundable so be willing to toss money away.
I ordered three spoons for my special need son. He has used other spoons in the past. This product is not what I expected and unfortunately is not refundable which I realized after I purchased. So be very careful when purchasing becauce you will be stuck with the items even if the Individual can't use them. Very disappointing.

My mom likes this weighted spoon very much
I purchased this for my mom who suffers from tremors, we found she does not have Parkinson’s disease. She finds the weighted spoon assists her feed herself.
