Worked well for running a rear view camera on my sedan. Wished it were longer so I could route it better.

Find the reverse bulb, attach power from there to camera + this cable... run from camera to monitor on front. The monitor is used only for rear view camera and this setup works great for me

While this cable is fairly nice it is not really an extension cable. The video cable has the same connectors on both end. An extension cable would just plug in between the two points to be extended. They need to change the name from extension to just cable, replace it with a proper extension cable or add an adapter that would allow you to use it as such. I give it 3 stars because it is not what they say it is (one lost star) and I had to make a second purchase in order to make it work(second lost star).

Good heavy gauge cable and rugged connections. It did the trick getting the video and power to my rear view camera on my Ford Escape.

Money well spent

This has been working perfect for running my backup camera from the back of my work truck. Now I can see the trailer I am pulling as my tool topper prevents using the rear view mirror.
