I bought this headset trying to find better quality audio for my online meetings. It features one of the best microphones I ever used and noise reduction is amazing. While testing noise reduction I found out that background noise and even someone else speaking on the phone 40cm away from me wasn't picked up by the microphone while my voice was picked up loud and clear.I got both analog and digital inputs and outputs off the bat (no driver required) on Ubuntu Linux. On top of that, headphones' audio quality is very close to some very high end Sennheiser monitor headphones. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase I made and I'd recommend this to anyone looking for something with a decent price and specs way above average.

Great headset.. very light weight and the sound and mic quality is excellent. The mic boom can be moved vertically, out of the way when you're not using it and you can hear everything that's going on around you while wearing it. After about an hour of using it, I'd almost forgotten that I'd got a headset on, which is great after the last one I had. It comes in OEM packaging, so don't expect a retail box. It comes packaged in a plastic bag, but that's not an issue at all. It has a quick setup guide in the packaging, but it's plug and play. The headset lead is a little short but I ordered a USB extension lead and it works great. You can easily control the volume up or down via the inline switch or mute and unmute the mic. When you mute or unmute it you hear a sound in the headset but the person you're speaking to doesn't hear it. The mic has great noise cancelling too, so any sounds around you don't get picked up. I work from home and wear this headset every day and I can honestly say it's the best one I've had so far!

I was issued a similar model at work to use with Skype calls and after my office equipment was delivered to use for home working my son was borrowing them to use for his online college classes. He loved them so I ordered him this set so I didn’t have to keep reclaiming mine when I had a conference call. They are really light weight, adjustable, comfortable and the sound quality is perfect. They can be worn with the mic either side and they have a lovely red light to show when your mic is muted, essential for when that colleague starts with their nonsense on the call and you can’t control your muttering of dismay! My son is so happy to have his own set and we both highly recommended these for comfort and sound quality.

Bought for work. works perfectly, no frills, but does what it says and easy to use. Kids have also used them on the playstation and they havent broken them yet!! :)After all day meetings my ears can get a little tired but luckily all day are rare and I am sure that all headphones would probably do the same except the more expensive comfort orientated headphones.They are not noise cancelling but they do a pretty good attempt at it and the microphone doesnt seem to pick up my kids if they interrupt me.

I bought this to replace my Sennheiser SC160 USB-C.I wanted a USB-C headset to use with my Mac and MS Teams for work.My Sennheiser fell to pieces after daily use after 3 years (ear foam disintegrated and ear piece detached from arm).Compared to the Sennheiser, which was the same price (when I bought it), the Plantronnics looks better and feels a better build quality (the Sennheiser felt quite cheap). Plantronnics does not have ear foam, and has a material outer layer instead.Plantronnics sound is not as clear, either in the ear phone, or for the person listening at the other end through the mic. It has much much bass, not as crisp and clear, a little bit muffled.The mute button on the Plantronnics does not activate/deactivate the mute icon in Teams, which was a really useful feature on the Sennheiser (I have 3 screens, sometimes I’m on a Team’s call, but I’m only listening, and Teams window is buried beneath lots of windows. Unmuting myself in a hurry is much easier for the headphone cord.) The mute button, despite beeping when pressed, and a red light coming on, does not mute the audio at all – it doesn’t work with MS Teams on a Mac.The controls on Plantronnics have unnecessary beeps and noises when turning up volume or pressing the mute button.I use a headset for most of my working day, and it’s probably the most important interface with my colleagues and clients. I’m surprised there’s not more of a choice in the market for Mac USB-C.BTW I have a Sennheiser USC-A headset – but this does not work at all with my USB-C Mac, even with extensions and converters.
