I've tried a number of different products, and this one works great for me.Everyone needs to find the one that works for their hair. My hair is thick and straight, and this does well holding it up and allowing me to shape it (I keep a side-part and short on the side and back). But hair must be dry - if wet, the product doesn't work well.

There is no way this is the authentic product. I have used this hair gel for many years purchased from authorized retailers. I believe this version is either expired or counterfeit. If you want to purchase from a trusted site, try going directly to grooming lounge - its worth it.

I have very fine and thin hair. It is very flat and has no volume. This stuff doesn't really shape my hair well, however, if I use a blow dryer first to get my hair up, then apply this, it works fine. Also, if you then blow dry your hair after you put the product in, your hair becomes extra soft and has a nice shine to it. I prefer this look.All the PROS need a hair dryer.The con is it that it doesn't really work by itself in putting my hair up or styling.

Gel sucks. Goop rules. And that's all you need to know. But seriously, it's a really great product. And if you're ever in DC / Northern Virginia area you should stop by a Grooming Lounge store and get your hair cut (little expensive but worth doing every third cut or so).
