Quality Krill From A Reliable Source
Because of improved bioavailability, my husband and I have switched from fish oil supplementation to krill oil. The added benefits in krill are no fishy burps, and the inclusion of other important nutrients like choline, phospholipids, and astaxanthins. We like this Perfect Krill formula for a variety of reasons. It’s manufactured by a reputable company, Labo Nutrition, and utilizes Superba 2™ krill oil. That means Aker BioMarine (of Norway) uses patented eco-harvesting technology to ensure optimal freshness and unnecessary bycatch. This technology results in minimal environmental impact. I appreciate such commitment to sustainable fishing practices. In addition, Superba 2™ also incorporates Flexitech™, which helps improve encapsulation properties, such as improved smell, taste and visual appearance. It's noticeable.Krill oil is a good way to increase choline levels which support vital bodily functions. It helps with my dry eyes and improves my husband’s cholesterol levels. We find this krill oil to be a much better value than leading competitors, and will continue taking it.

I feel so much better when taking these!
Since I have reached my mid 50s, I am doing everything I can to help my heart and joints bear the brunt of time. This Perfect Krill supplement has really made a difference in the way I am feeling overall. My knees feel better and that is the number one side effect that I have noticed over time when taking this. They are easy to swallow, and I do not get "fishy burps" afterward. I like the amount of EPA and DHA included in this formula. This has been a nice compliment to my daily vitamin routine. I will continue to use this formula indefinitely because it is helping me to feel good on the inside as well as the outside.

This pill makes my head pulse and it give me a headach
I do not recommend this pill. For me I had a bad reaction which was pulsating veins in my temples on the side of my head and a headach. I do not get headaches. It is possible that it may affect other people this way so all I can say is buyer beware.

Low dose. Bottle was half empty, wasteful packaging
This only has 196 combined EPA/DHA, whereas a daily dose should be a minimum of 250, probably closer to 500.I take 500mg EPA/DHA, plus I take cod liver oil, and a bonus dose of flax and/or help daily, and my recent bloodwork showed I was *still* low on EPA/DHA. So my doctor said add another 200mg.Following my doctors instructions (700mg EPA/DHA), that would mean I have to take 4 of these a day... making this bottle just a 15 day supply.Fortunately, the almost 200 EPA/DPA is exactly what I needed to add to my existing daily regiment, so it's going to work for me. But if you're relying on this alone for your daily needs, I'm highly doubtful it's enough, unless you eat a lot of seafood - I would make sure to ask your doctor to get tested, to make sure you're getting enough.I do like that it has astaxanthin in it, but this is 200mcg (0.2mg), and my doctor wants me on 12mg daily. So this is about 1/60th of a daily dose.Similarly, the choline and phospholipids are small doses. The daily recommended dose for Phospholipids is typically 840mg twice daily, so this provides 400mg, about 1/4th of your daily needs.I think the price is a bit high for what you get.My final note to the brand: The bottle arrived half empty, perhaps being wasteful with bottles contributes a bit to the price being too high. We are facing a global plastics pollution crisis, they are finding plastic waste in just about every corner of the planet, even remote areas of the arctic sea! So please be be smarter about packaging - either fill the bottle to the brim (and adjust your price accordingly), or ship in a right-sized bottle. Be smarter about your footprint - and besides, it will reduce the number of Amazon deliveries, and keep costs down for everyone.

Looks good!
If I had to pick my top supplements I couldn't live without, a high quality omega-3 would be at the top of the list. Even though my fish consumption is high compared to the standard American diet, I believe the evidence that higher dosing and higher quality phospholipid formulations offer considerable benefits for inflammation, cognition and body composition. Fish oils have issues with spoilage and shelf life, as well as environmental impacts. Containing a high percentage of phospholipid DHA/EPA, krill oil seems to offer better absorption, bioavailability and a more shelf-stable product. Plus it includes the astaxanthin, which I also take. In general krill/algal oils seem to be superior to standard fish oil. This looks like it is a high quality krill product and offers a very decent 100mg-per-serving dose. I cannot find anything to ding on this product other than perhaps third party testing. Overall seems like a good quality and value proposition.

Quality Pure Antarctic Krill Oil for Omega 3s and Astaxanthin
I think quality marine animal oil is one of the best daily supplements to take. In my opinion, krill is the best source of sea-based Omega-3 oil. This oil comes from traceable, sustainable frigid-water krill in the Antarctic, the best kind. It is harvested in New Zealand and purified of mercury and heavy metals in the USA.Krill, also known as plankton, are tiny shrimp-like creatures, the preferred food of whales. This product page lists all the organs of the body krill oil and the other ingredients like astaxanthin are good for, so let’s just say, this is beneficial for the entire body and mind, and is something we would all benefit from every day.
