Really good quality... But (Update)
First of all, when it comes to products like this, as in, natural, I personally do have a tolerance in what I find acceptable, be it disk's like this, timber from DIY stores or builders merchants, it floats about 20% of the total, but for me, they have to be really bad to be stated as "no good" and chucked away.Natural products are'nt perfect and it always amazes me how people indeed demand perfection everytime for such things. So, my take on these, as the batch I have received goes, cannot fault them, yep, some arent perfectly round, but trees just arent, and you cannot chuck them away, since, well, there's nothing wrong with them, and it's not the trees fault, nor the sellers, do people actually think its cost effective for people to filter perfectly round ones to ones that arent... And if they do, then they are silly! :DAnyway, back to my batch, there's no splits in any of them, but even if there was, the fix is to stabilize the crack with some resin, let it go off and sand it back, you should seal the disks (Always better to seal timber first before any work, saves muck smudges, grease etc etc getting in the grain), then fill the crack with resin with some dark stain in, then sand it back, or fill with PVA and sawdust then give it a sand after 24 hours.See, for me, these cracks add character to a piece, so instead of complaining, use them... If your doing art on them, which is repeated, these faults will make the piece unique even though whatever you put on there is replicated... Embrace the faults, make them work, let them shine! On the loose bark front, if you have any piece that is bad, dried and came off, you could remove the lot, then char the edge with a blow torch for that barky look, just give it a good flash over, wire brush any over burnt bits, and bobs your uncle, remember to protect the middle as best as you can, I use pieces of fire board that I place on the timber, and point the heat on, but slightly away from where I want to singe.Honestly, these are indeed the best I've seen so far, and when it comes to this stuff... And sometimes, perfection is in the imperfections.Update: After I purchased the second batch of these (And giving them 5*'s), and going for a third batch, I noticed the seller has put the price up by nearly 1/3 of what I originally bought them for. Now I still stand by what I originally put, unfortunately, I cannot justify them being 5* because they've wiped out the value of them, they are good, but not good for the asking, and as such, I've had to source others from elsewhere , which as it happens, is less then what I paid for these originally... Such a shame. My 2p

Ideal for fence holes.
I used these to cover holes that appear in wooden fencing over time. Like the knots in the wood that fall out. Glue them over the holes.
