This is a great product for making salads. I’ve been using it for years.

White truffles are less strong in flavor and aroma than black truffles, and for that reason, they work well for infusion into extra virgin olive oil. They are pungent enough to be the dominant flavor but not too much to negate the taste of high quality oil. This white truffle oil wows me with the aroma -- it's more intense than some -- and adds great flavor from anything from filet mignon to French fries to compound butter. It has a slight bitter edge, but not the spiciness you get with certain EVOOs. That's true of most of the truffle oils I've had -- the producer has to carefully choose its olive oil base, and FD has.This white truffle oil is imported from Italy.-- Debbie Lee Wesselmann

And, that's pretty much as exceptional as it gets. Really, this is a light flavored extra virgin olive oil however there isn't anything else about this 'blend" that substantially sets it apart from other mid-tier quality Italian EVOOs, no matter what the labeling wants to influence you to convince yourself might be true. I'll drizzle it over some steamed vegetables, blend it with some different vinegars for vinaigrettes and when it's depleted, not be concerned about replacing it because it just isn't anything special.

This is wonderfully aromatic white truffle infused olive oil. It is made in Italy and has the same high quality as other olive oils I've bought from Eataly and other Italian gourmet food shops. I love using this on pasta but also use it to make gourmet snacks like white truffle popcorn. For pasta, you can add some heavy cream and parmesan cheese to make a delicious sauce. The bottle is a little smaller than I expected but since I don't use a lot each time, it will last awhile. The price is very good for this type of product on Amazon.

This Tartufi white truffle olive oil has a lovely flavor and works well as an add-on after cooking, although I have also used it to quickly fry eggs, etc. Works great on salads and vegetables. I love the rich earthy flavor it adds to rice in particular.

This is another one of the brands that doesn't seem to have truffle but just "aroma" I hear most of the time the "aroma" is a chemical that mimics truffle. It seems to taste ok, but I'd really like to know more about what's really in the products I use.

I am super happy with this. I use it for almost everything. Super yummy as a dressing with balsamic vinegar.
