Very detailed information
Well written guide. Easy to follow along! I read all the routes near the area I will be visiting and based on the information provided I was able to plan an itinerary. There is so basic Voa Ferrata knowledge information, including the grading system (can be co fusing since different countries and regions use different methods) the guide includes also how to get there, parking and so on. I’m ready!

Excellent guide to Dolomite via ferratas
Excellent guide covering all the essentials and was perfect for my first foray into the world of via ferrata. Route description details cover all the important points but be aware that there are errors in some of the maps. You'll easily figure things out if you have the 1:25,000 Tobacco/Kompass maps, but it can still be confusing. For eg, on pp221&225, the 'track' up Punta Fiames is actually the via ferrata; on pp228&223, Croda del Pomagagnon is mislabelled Campanile Dimai and on p233, the route and old chairlift is shown going up the gully to Forcella Grande rather than the correct/normal route to Forcella Staunies. Doesn't detract too much from the generally very accurate route descriptions and pictorial guides, but I'd take off half a star for that and shouldn't be too hard to get it right

Excellent descriptions, topo's and Photo's, Inspiring Guidebook.
Just purchased this guide book following recommendations, ready for a trip to the Dolomite's. I am very impressed with the maps and detailed explanations of the routes. The photographs along with the topo's give an excellent visual representation of the routes and have totally inspired me.It can be daunting when heading to a new area and this guide book has filled me with confidence for the routes that I want to try.The authors knowledge of the area and experience is evident in the descriptions and topo's, whilst the photo's have inspired and captivated me.Really looking forward to putting this handy guide book to the test. I will definitely be looking out for more guidebooks from the author.

Not very detailed
This is a nice book for getting ideas about where to go and for the history of the area, but the details are a little vague. Could use more detailed topos and better descriptions (for example, give rough distances between landmarks, more specifics instead of instructions like "cross the stream numerous times.").
