Q: Is this watch water resistant? Up to how many meters?

I've never worn any watch in the shower, pretty stupid thing to do. I've worn my Rolex Submariner deep sea diving with no issues (of course it's a Rolex and was designed for that) The Stuhrling is a nice everyday watch, keeps excellent/accurate time, looks smart and I've never had any issues with it. It's gotten rained on, and splashed from hand washing with no issues.Hope this helps.

Yes, it comes in a very beautiful box

Q: Is there a replacement band not made out leather?

You can buy a nylon band for it.

Q: Can anyone confirm the case measurement as 38mm? The web description says 38mm, but the photos look closer to 40mm or 42mm

I gave it as a present so I can’t confirm that for you... but I will tell you it’s a great watch
