Ok for non-demanding applications
As condenser microphones go, this is ok. Using a 196,000Khz recording setup, this certainly does not have the quality of something better made. The sound has a very hollow effect. Boosting the mid range seems to just amplify noise from the microphone. Recording on a budget, this does however work infinitely better than the microphone on a phone, video camera, or computer. The shockmount is ok, the arm is standard (with the ability to route cables through the arm), and the pop filter seems to be missing part of the clamp on my order, so I am unable to use it. There doesn't seem to be a "birth sheet" as much as a crudely copied birth sheet of some random microphone in their production line. The wind screen had gotten flattened in packaging, and has a massive crease which I can't get to go away. Aesthetics are not a factor to me, so I don't care. If I had paid $10 more, I would have been extremely disappointed in the product. I wish I would have spent $65 on a bottom rung decent microphone, like a MXL V67G (Which I have at work).

I am giving this 1 star review because i received a open not taped shut box that was empty, no microphone in the box at all, (IT Was WIDE OPEN) the manufacturer or Amazon neglected to tape the box shut before shipping the microphone, i bought the microphone for my son and after waiting like 4 or 5 days the package finally arrived and he was pretty disappointed to see a empty box.

Great product for the price
Great product for the price...it is made cheaply yes, but performs very well...a great mic for the beginner or the professional who has budget limitations. This mic will pickup acoustic guitar very nicely as well as a decent vocal range frequency...would highly recommend for the price...would buy again no questions asked.
