The tool is very well constructed this not some cheap tool. What I love about it is its versatilityRight in my cue bag pouch I have a tool no more than a square inch that can repair shape anything you would need to do to your cue tip is right there. I needed a perforator. The perforator really is the tool that keeps chalk on the tip. Years ago, I had marked my ferrule using a cheaper perforator that was exposed. Since this perforator is recessed, I can't make that goofy mistake again.

had difficulty before they changed the ad, i thought i was purchasing 2 for 20 bucks got 1 contacted the dealer explained why i thought it was for 2. they have since changed the ad and cleared that up so no one else will make that mistake. was expecting to have to buy a second tapper for my kid's case, and today i was pleasantly surprised to find the second tapper in the mailbox. wasn't expecting that after e-mails leading me to understand i wasn't getting two, so their customer service is excellent in my opinion. they listened to my advice about changing the ad and incorporating links for separate color purchases (even though i was a bit "frustrated" after finding out about the original ad being for one). so for that, i say thank you to them.for scuffing my tip it works great, haven't had it through a tip change yet so i don't know if it'll be any good at shaping but i don't anticipate any problems given how aggressively it chews on the leather if you push to hard. don't use it on a cheap cue though unless you want to re-tip it anyway, it'll pull the tip right off with no pressure. i was worried about that tip beforehand, since the kid is kinda rough on cues.

It has various sizes for shaping. It gets the job done and you can smooth your corners and make the tip rough

Brought my cue tip back to life. My cue was less than a year old, but didn’t seem to want to take the chalk, and definitely didn’t grab the cue ball as much. After one brief session with this tool, I was getting more action on the cue ball than I ever have. I highly recommend this tool.
