I bought these lights to improve efficiency, but also to replace my old florescent lighting and add additional lighting in the basement/garage. The first light was a direct replacement so I had hangers already set up. The only issue I had was threading an S-hook though the light to attach to the chain. I ended up using some fencing wire fashioned to fit.Brighter than the florescents they replaced. Able to chain them together, which works well for my shop area so they operate on one switch. Also, will mount one on a beam. Very easy.

I installed these lights in my art studio and have found them to meet all expectations. They are light weight, easy to install, bright and sturdy. I like that they plug into one another and have installed four lights together into one switch. I have also found that I can put them right up to the ceiling which fills the whole space with light.

These are bright and easy to install, but one of the lights I received was defective. One of the two LED strip inside was not fully adhered to the inside. Super glue did not work to stick it back on. I tried electric tape as well but within a few days it unstuck and I can see that the LED strip fell down inside and lays on the cover. Also noticed that if the wires aren't fully held up inside, they will cast a shadow through the light and are visible. Overall I like them but I thought it would be good for others to know about.

Lights are of very high quality. Overall brightness is great. Dimming feature is a must have addition, and are very easy to install.

Recently bought a new house and it has the older style T12 lights. Found these LED lights on here and bought four to see how they were because they were not all that costly. Super easy to hang and so bright. I ordered 16 more lights and cannot wait to brighten up the rest of the ship!

There are a couple of things I really don't like about these fixtures. First, they are flimsy and it's difficult to install them without the middle sagging. Second, nothing hides the wiring and you can see the uneven, unsightly mess through the lens (especially when the lights are on). They are bright, can be dimmed and will hopefully be reliable but I would never buy them again.

Exactly what we want - very bright so we don’t even use the dimmer function. Lights an entire room.

I like the decent brightness level, sure, but what my aging eyes truly appreciates is the way it’s diffused through the frosted white lens. The light ‘glows’ evenly and has no harsh glare at all. Eight of these are now installed on my 400 sq ft garage’s ceiling. Furthermore, the admittedly-clever dimming feature is nice (and surprisingly intuitive to activate).One gripe. Well, three gripes, technically:One rivet that holds the end cap section on broke off during shipping. On three of the eight lamps. I have a rivet tool and a bunch of 1/8” aluminum pop rivets, so it took me only a few seconds to repair. Hence the 4-star rating, not 5.
