Hard to describe but here goes..these roller bottles are so much prettier than they look in the picture. They are made of glass and the box contains 6 bottles with steel rollers. The colors are 2 of each: lavender, mint green and light blue. They are a shiny metal looking color that is just breath taking. As soon as I opened the box, I was so surprised. I immediately used 2 of the bottles for essential oil blends. One with jojoba oil and 10 drops lavender. No leaks or issues whatsover. I am very pleased about this. The other bottle I used for a blend that was premixed and added fractionated coconut oil and a little rosehip seed oil. Again..no issues with the bottles leaking. The oil rolls on easily but not so fast that I get too much. Time will tell whether color peels away from the glass bottle, but from inspecting these bottles, it looks like the beautiful appearance will last. The only difficult part is that I cannot tell how full or empty the bottle might be but that really isn't a deal breaker since I pretty much knew that upon purchase. I have plenty of other roller bottles that I can see through if indeed I need that type. These would make beautiful lip balm bottles or perfume roller bottles also. You could even just use fractionated coconut oil or jojoba oil alone in the bottle for lip moisturizer. I am sure you would get compliments on the bottles. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review, but getting the discount does not mean I don't love these bottles. I try to give a fair review so that the reader can make an educated decision.

Pretty nice bottles! Metal lid does scratch the paint off of the bottle, right where the lid rubs the bottle. BUT the roller ball delivers proper amount of oil and does not leak!! Recommend!!

The bottles are smallish but ended up being the perfect size for my essential oils applications. Colorful and smooth spreading of the bottles contents make these little bottles a winner. I mix several essential oils together as an anti-itch formula for my husband to carry with him,(he doesn't mind the color) so it can be applied anywhere any time. I even send essential oils to family up north and they have all commented positively about the applicator bottles. Very nice product that was everything I needed and more

Paint chips off and little shards poke and stick to my skin when rolling on oil.

Some of the finish flaked off near the cap, but roller portion works great.

These are really pretty, but the roller ball is inadequate and doesn't let very much oil out at all. It's frustrating because you basically have to rub really hard to get it out and on sensitive areas like behind your ear, it hurts. Not a fan.

I ordered these to put castor oil in for lips. They are a fantastic little bottle. The roller pops out with the assistance of a butter knife. I was able to easily pour the oil from the big bottle into these bottles. The roller securely popped back in. I've been carrying one in my purse for days and there is no sign of leakage. The roller works well with the oil. I've given bottles to my daughters and husband to use.

These little containers are FANtastic! I can finally put my Escentual Musk Oil into a container, with rolling ball, and use it just like other perfumes without spilling it everywhere. And these colors are gorgeous, even if used for gifts. Would not hesitate to buy again.
