This one is very accurate with one exception. I tested it with my "old timey" silver thermometer. If you want the temp to be spot on, it takes more time than the timer allows. So I let it warm up in my mouth for 30 seconds or so. Then I take it out, turn it on, and follow the timer. It's spot on if I do that. Not a big deal unless you are wanting to use this for a baby. If I was going to use this for a baby, I would warm it under their arm, in your hand, or something before starting the power up and timer process.

When it came time to replace my old digital thermometer which I'd had for 7 years, I found that getting an accurate one was not so easy. Most of the digital thermometers out there are quite inaccurate.After calibrating this one (see question and answer section for directions), it has been working very well and seems to be very accurate. It's the best thermometer I've found for being both quick to read temps (about 15-20 seconds), accurate, a large, backlighted readout, and comfortable to hold in my mouth. Glad my search for a good thermometer is over!

A professional instrument, in my opinion, with easy to use features. Fast reading & flexible tip, love the size and the large readout, the instructions were easy to follow and it works great. I am so confident in using this for my kid, and feel so at ease with how quick and accurate it is! The package comes with the thermometer, instructions, a clear plastic case and extra battery. It is lightweight and easy to travel with. I liked the idea that the company emailed me to make sure I received the thermometer and was happy with it.Thanks for making such a great product!

Exactly "what the doctor ordered". Works extremely well is easy to use , accurate readings and super fast! As a mom of two I love this for my kids and also for all my family. Very convenient to have it in the house; I tested the thermometer to see if it was waterproof as it claimed, and it was. Also soft & gentle flexible tip. It arrived in a very timely manner, and well packed. Awesome product and excellent customer service. This is the first time I have used this seller and for sure will buy again.

Pro: Light is nice which is why I purchased the thermometer. Large display.Con: Wrong temp when used orally (Only test I tried).5 thermometers1. Digital - 97.22. Digital - 97.13. Digital w/ new battery - 97.24. Old mercury - 97.25. This thermometer - 97.7 !I threw it out.If you do get one which is correctly calibrated, the battery is CR1632. Use padded (a cloth) pliers to pull the blue top cap off to access the battery compartment.

This thermometer is easy to use and very accurate. I trust this completely to give me an accurate reading of my kids temperature. I don't like big fancy things, so this is perfect for us. I can see the reading perfectly and don't have to guess what it says. There's not a lot of buttons to push and get confused with. It's a great thermomenter for sure!

This thermometer works exactly as I expected and other oral thermometers. Place the thermometer under your tongue, close your mouth and wait about 45 seconds to a minute, and it beeps and displays the temperature. This product comes with plastic disposable sleeves if you need to use it for multiple members of the family. I found the sleeves to be a bit flimsy, but I also haven't used any before. I tested the thermometer with the sleeve and without and got a difference of 0.3° higher without the sleeve. I prefer the reading of an oral digital thermometer over a forehead or ear thermometer and I like how this display lights up after it beeps so you can see the numbers clearly. I can imagine if you're not feeling well, you probably don't want to turn the lights on just to read the temperature.

It’s OK. But, just how accurate is this Thermometer? I mean after all, isn’t that the most important quality of any Thermometer? I tested it against a ear-canal thermometer and a kitchen instant-read digital thermometer and the results were mixed. The Kamsey registered lower than both thermometers by 1-1.2 degrees F. The instructions say this thermometer orally is lower by .3-.8C. Maybe state this abberation in F for North America. We obviously need better technology in 2018.
