The recipes look good, we’ve only made the gyozas but the pictures could use some colour!

I'm really disappointed with this product, bought as a gift, the pictures are all in black and white and it just isn't worth the amount of money paid for it

I'm disappointed with this book to be honest. It is not worth the money. While there are plenty of recipes, the translation, editing, presentation are utterly dreadful. No care has been given to create text that makes proper sense and it's littered with typos! If you're going to publish, at least use your spell checker! I'm a linguist, I know translation is hard to do extremely well, but this feels like a project thrown together the night before an ignored deadline. The instructions aren't logically written on many recipes and the big fail for me was - no recipe for dumpling skins at all! Just 'buy pack of wonton wrappers' !!!!!! You do a recipe book about dumplings and gyoza, you better include a dough recipe just in case wonton wrappers are hard to come by. Feel a bit robbed tbh.
