It’s foam
I have 3 little cheerleaders that are flyers. We got this to practice their body positions because I didn’t want to shell out $250 for the real thing. This thing is all foam and smaller then I expected. It is hard foam and does not squish in when they stand on it. It is not heavy at all and I am concerned it will tip over. The bottom is covered with the hook side of Velcro so you could stick it to a tumbling mat for stability but I don’t have a tumbling mat. The hook Velcro did not scratch our wood floor. It seems stable enough but not worth the $60 I paid. I would say $30 would be reasonable. I might get some rubber pads to put on the bottom so it doesn’t slide around. I wouldn’t really recommend this based on the size and price.Just tape some phone books together (if you can find some) and save yourself the money.

Very sturdy, just quite small.
My daughter likes it, and it may be my fault, but I thought it was going to be the same width as the tumble track. I thought I read that it had Velcro on it to attack to the end of the tumble track, but it does not. It is quite a small surface to stand on, and moves around if not on carpet. We used alien tape to adhere it to the tumble track. It is however, very very firm and sturdy. My girls feel as though it’s too small to practice tumbling (back tucks) from, but they use it to practice flyer cheer poses, and put their faces on it for hand stands and walkovers. Not a bad purchase for the money, just not quite what I expected.

Perfect for practicing at home
Exactly the same as the ones my daughter’s cheer gym uses. As a former coach as well, I feel more comfortable having my daughter practice on this than the typical stunt stand. She uses it every day and loves it. Gives her a good feel for what her proper body alignment should be when practicing her skills. A couple of weeks practicing on this stunt stand and she has been coming home from practice saying her stunt group is finally hitting their level 2 stunt sequence.

If you love to cheer...
My daughter, a high school cheerleader, absolutely loves this training stand. She is constantly practicing her routines and also uses the box to do a variety of leg and cardio routines.

Excellent Starting Point
I love this product for my budding contortionist daughter -- it's not a beam or hand balancers but it's a great place to start. She isn't too far off the ground so a fall isn't terrible. And it's easy to store. Great size. Highly recommend.

Great Product. Quick Delivery. As Advertised
This product works great for my 8 year old. I hook it up to the door and she spends hours stretching while she watches tv. Delivery was quick. The price was also reasonable compared to some of the other models

Solid construction, well made.
Very pleased with the quality of construction. The velcro on the bottom locks it in place on our mats for great security from random movements. We are happy with it and expect it to last a long time.
