Q: Are they insulated for winter wear? How many grams?

400 grams. I don't know why amazon can't make descriptions more clear. I live in Minnesota and these are good until single digits cold. Then you might want the 8 inch that come in 1000 grams, which is what I do. Switching between these and the 8 inch boondocks....have had them for 4 years and still going good. Anti fatigue are the most comfortable boots I ever had.

Q: Are they carbonfiber toe

They are composite toe, not steel. I have to go thru a metal detector for work. These do not set it off.

Yes are oil resistant and anti-slip, anti fatigue ,the best shoes I have ever
