Capezio Little Girls' Romantic Tutu

We purchased this for our then 6 year old daughter who had a great interest for all things ballet. I was a little concerned at first due to the amount of reviews noting how poofy the skirt was upon arrival. I can attest to the fact that it indeed was VERY poofy. However, after use and washing, it calmed down and became more of the romantic tutu I was expecting. With time, this skirt WILL relax. It's length was exactly what I was hoping for; for our 6 year old it hit mid calf - she is on the 'smaller' side for her age. It is well constructed and has managed to last us at last a year now with frequent dress-up and costume/dance use. I highly recommend this product.

This item was just awful. Way too large for my 4 year old, and the material was terribly itchy & rough. She never would have worn it, even if I had put a pair of leggings on underneath it. Returning item & will search for a much gentler material

Size 2-6? Really? As a former dancer, I bought it for a 2 year old but she will have to wait at least a year or two before she can wear as a dress up under her arm pits, not a skirt. It's huge! Also, stiff and poofy. I washed in the washing machine with bleach and put it in the dryer hoping to soften it a bit. That didn't happen but it did take out every crease and wrinkle from shipping! The color is as shown.

i bought this tutu at wear at my job for halloween and it fit well!! i am an adult but I'm very petite so this was perfect for my purple princess look :) i love that it was long and fluffy!! i definitely recommend this and think girls would love this!

I bought this after reading the reviews so I knew what I was in for- kind of. This tutu is HUGE, it is NOT a size "2-6x." My daughter wears an 8, and I anticipate it will fit her for several years. It's very puffy and poofy (which she loves, but which could be a drawback if you don't like that.) Also, this is not the kind of tutu you could safely put a kid in a harnessed car seat in (she is 6, and rode in a booster the day she wore it after she got it for Christmas.) It's THAT poofy. It does kind of stick out all over, but she loves it. One star removed for sizing inaccuracy (just because they really should size appropriately, even though I knew it ran big and that's why I got it) and for the waistband which is indeed kinda funky (but she doesn't mind.) Otherwise well-made and hey, it's a tutu.

The tutu fit perfect around her waist however it was a little too long so I trimmed it down to size.

It’s made out of plastic. It’s rough, poorly made, and smelly. No tutu fun or elegance. It was a waist of time:(
