A couple of hints for use - let me start by saying I am Caucasian with thick brown hair that has natural wave- this is my experience:1) IMPORTANT - if the brush is too cold, it will pull your hair. After constantly reading mixed reviews, I was extremely hesistant to buy this product. I even watched videos where hair straightening brushes don't work perfectly. I'm so glad I chose to buy it.I have VERY thick hair. I have flat irons at home to help this problem, but I never use them because it takes me 45-50 minutes. As a 17 year old with a small amount of free time, I needed a product that would make the process shorter.Here is why you need this product:1. If you have thick, frizzy hair, it will decrease the "poof" almost completely.2. You can actually brush your hair normally because it is definitely anti-scalding. I touched by scalp and didn't feel a thing. (Although brush your hair a little slower than normal or it will not be as straight)3. It took me about 10 MINUTES to brush all my hair. That's magic in my case.4. It heats up in about 2 minutes to the highest temperature.5. The lock feature is great so you don't accidentally press a button.Here are things you should be aware of:1. If your hair is extremely tangled, don't think this brush will untangle it for you. I made sure my hair was completely free of tangles, making the process much easier and pain-free.2. Since it is a brush, you will not have stick-straight hair. I'm fine with that. If you do wish for that result, you better be fine with spending much more time and effort with a flat iron. This is not to say it is still frizzy and poofy after you brush your hair.That is all I can think of to say about this brush. Overall, a huge success. Never going back to the flat iron.

The only way to go to straighten or smooth hair. I am Caucasian, but have very curly, thick and course hair. It took me an average of 40 minutes (an hour if it was humid out) to straighten with any flat iron I've ever used. I'm 58 years old, so I've run the course on flat irons. With this product it takes 10 minutes to straighten. About 20 minutes when I straighten my hair in 3 to 4 layers, which results in super straight, super smooth and shiny hair. To help keep it straight and smooth, please use an anti-humidity product. This brush, as does others, has the temperature reading in centigrade, as opposed to fahrenheit. Don't despair. You'll figure out your best temperature in no time. p/s I had another, more expensive, brush that I gave to my sister, that I used for a little over a month. This less expensive brush is nearly identical to the other and does just as wonderful a job as the other.

I never leave reviews but I had to for this. My daughter has extremely curly hair (like, Shirley temple curls) this brush straightened her hair PERFECTLY in under 5 minutes. I love that the bristles dont heat up so I didnt have to worry about the possibility of burning her scalp. My sister has extremely thick, long hair (waist line) and her total straightening time was under 10 minutes. With a flat iron it takes about 40 minutes. The temperature settings are awesome. And it has a lock feature so even if your hand bumps the buttons while in use, you dont have to worry about turning it back on and waiting for it to heat up all over again. Doesnt take too long to heat up and much less heat damage to hair than the flat iron. I will officially never use a flat iron again. Ever!!

The product is beautiful it's black with gold trim. it comes in Centigrade or Fahrenheit. I used it just once but it was wonderful, it straighten my hair as promised. It didn't burn my hair or scalp I would recommend this product to my friends and family. It was delivered on time as promised.
