FirePit was a complete package
We built the block structure and then used the 31" Stanbroil kit. It contained everything but the propane tank. The igniter could be a little more effective, but could be the trades up in Kula Maui, but overall it is an excellent package!

Bigger & Better Than Anything You Can Buy
At 25” in diameter, this drop-in fire pit was just what we wanted. It is made a very durable stainless steel and the electric ignition is a nice touch.

Works well but can be tricky to get up and running
Overall the burner kit works well after some issues (to follow) with a consistent flame and nice amount of heat. As in my photos, I built my pit from 7" x 12" concrete garden blocks. Setting the control panel (on/off and static starter button (2nd photo) required it to either be recessed almost 6 inches back into the pit in order not to kink the in or out line from the controls. The alternative to this would have been to change the fittings on either side with 90 degree fittings from a hardware store but I feared doing so as it would have broken the sealed fitting as shipped and possibly broken any warranty. Otherwise, I'd suggest a fire pit with walls that are less than 4 inches thick. The seller recommends, by their calculation on the product page, 50 lbs of lava rock/glass for the tray of a 25 inch pan. That is excessive! Twenty pounds of lava rock and 10 pounds of colored glass on top were sufficient (I returned 20 pounds that I bought as it was unnecessary.) I was having an issue with the fire burning well for 30-35 minnutes then dying. I discovered, using soapy water, that my propane tank had a tiny leak and purchased a brand new, unused, tank and had it filled then double checked with soapy water if there were any leaks. It has burned well since then. Starting it seems to be best by 1) turn on gas at the propane tank to full output 2) turn the control panel key all the way left, to the full ON position 3) press and hold the static starter to ignite. I then turn the key valve on the panel a little bit lower with little effect on the flame. It uses propane at a good clip, 1/4 of a typical 5 gallon tank after two, 1 hour burns. I purchased a cover from a different vendor on Amazon for considerably less than the cover suggested by the seller. Overall, it's a good burner that isn't difficult to set up, but one must be sure there's nothing that leaks or kinks to get a good flow of gas and a good fire.

Nice Fire Pan
We had to use a variable rate pressure regulator to get a lot of flame. Pipes whistle when on full blast.

Pan and burner are great, control panel failed after 3 uses
Used control panel 3 times, and it quit working. Replaced battery, checked tanks and valves. Striker works, but no gas feed. The pan looks great, but the control panel has ruined the experience with this product.

product is good
The description is in my opinion not clear. The unit is called a 19" drop in fire pit pan, I expect that it should fit a 19" or slightly larger hole in the table. Because the "pan" is tapered is requires a minimum of a 19.8" diameter hole. I have a table with a 19.4" diameter hole and is now stuck with the problem of enlarging the hole in the table. It should be clearly stated what hole size the pan requires.Arvid Pedersen

Easy Way to Make Your Fire Pit
I purchased this to finish off a fire pit I was making out of an old wine barrel. I have to say that it was straight forward to put together and the fittings were easy to attach. After completing the project I added the recommended amount of cut glass to finish it off. Having the push start was a no brainer so that it is easy to start and the recommended hose attachment ensures no annoying whistle noise will occur over the time you use them. These do go on sale from time to time so keep an eye out on them. All in all, I am happy with this purchase.
