The Bedderpan - A Novel Bedpan Designed for Added Comfort and Reduced Spillage

Amazing!
This bedpan was much easier to use and more comfortable than anything that we have used before. It was sturdy and cleanup was easier and less messy than expected.I have been a home health aid and working with patients for years. I bought this for my father who is 6ft tall and 275lbs. He has very limited mobility right now. Many plastic bedpans collapse and break for him or are extremely uncomfortable. This was just right! It was used for the first time less than an hour after delivery and it was SO much better than we expected. It has been used several times after and it continues to be better than anything else that we have tried.(I would recommend that men also use a urinal to avoid overshooting the bedpan.)I am so pleased with this product that I am ordering another one for my grandmother and I am telling the nurses and aids that I talk to.Thank you! This is really a gamechanger andbwell worth the money!

Great concept but had trouble fitting it
It's hard to review this item because I had difficulty with the person I was caring for in terms of body weight. I would probably have issues with any bedpan, but I like the concept behind it.

Excellent product!
The Bedderpan is very well-made and well-designed two-piece bedpan for patients confined to bed at home. The base or housing unit is very sturdy, yet easy to position under the patient and very comfortable to sit/lie on while in bed. The removable part called the fracture pan collects any waste products and slides easily out of the housing unit for disposal and cleaning without having to move or disturb the patient. The biggest problem with most bedpans of course is spillage and cleanup, and the Bedderpan pretty much eliminates this issue. It costs a little more than some of the cheaper old-style bedpans, but is well worth it because of the comfort, durability and cleanliness it offers!
