1TB USB Flash Drive USB Drive for Laptop/Computer Gold

Holds a suprisingly large amount of storage space but the connection to the laptop is extremely sensitive. One minor touch or bump will make it disconnect and if that happens enough or during a crucial time.. you can lose a lot of important information. Best for Desktops or devices that rarely have movement or mobile interaction.

Had a hard time figuring out how to close it up. Not as sturdy as I thought it would be. Size is great. Appearance is fine.

it's a flash drive...it operates like a flash drive...we just got it, so I am not really sure what more you can want...it is a flash drive.If I could (knew how) I'd provide benchmark data...but I'm not a storage expert so I wouldnt know what benchmarks to even talk about.it's a flash drive...and it works.

as someone who sometimes goes thru laptops a lot more then most people i always needed to find a way to get my stuff backed up without having to rely one one drive as that's just a very bad way to back up stuff as is plus with this having more memory then my laptop entirely as is i still have so much space to save all i need to on the usb flash drive as is with no problems what so ever and then still have room for stuff later on to back up as is :)

The storage capacity IS 1 tb, however the writing speeds suck and so does launching programs. The usb also shipped in exFAT format, and I had to reformat it to NTFS AFTER I already moved 70 gb of music in FLAC format, which took a good 7 hours to do already (I slept through it) so I moved everything back to my 128 gb usb which was faster because the write speeds are higher (took around 40 mins, which should be expected of that size.) Honestly, I shouldn't expect a good user experience with a $20 1 tb usb since anything that is a terabyte will usually cost 50+, but I usually do have good luck and use with cheap products. OpenMPT also took a few minutes to launch, when it will always take around 5 seconds.It sucks but I'm going to deal with it because I'm 14 and cannot afford higher quality products.edit: moved 9 gigabytes of thunderdome to this drive (only thunderdome; i left all of my other music on my 128 gb usb drive) and some goreshit and the drive no longer works. i can plug it in and the light will turn on but none of my devices register it. a dogwater usb.

I bought 2 of these just to have an extra. They came with these cute cord things and plastic storage cases.My ONLY issue was this: The cases had these seller labels on them and when I pulled them off, they were hard to get off so it left this sticky glue residue. After trying a few methods, though, I found that olive oil did the trick of getting off all that sticky stuff. But I'm still giving 5 stars because the product itself is exactly what I need to store my music for nights I want to go out singing. The gold is a beautiful classy touch. Would definitely order again.
