Q: Will it work with 3840 x 2160 monitor ?

Yes...I currently run one 3840x2160 and two 1080p monitors from this card.

Q: how would this be for gaming? or is it only for other work types of things

I purchased this card last year for my CAD / 3D modeling workstation. It's intended to be used for designing and modeling but my kids love to hijack my desktop for gaming and it performs quite well (most games are able to be run at the highest resolution), but it probably wouldn't compare well against dedicated gaming cards that can be purchased for several hundred dollars less than the $750 I spent for this card. If you have the need for a professional grade 3D modeling or video editing GPU that can handle moderate to above average gaming performance then this card would be an option. Hope that helps.

Q: Will i be able to use full capability of this card with xeon e-5 4+cores family work station?

Xeon CPUs support dual PCIE busses but it depends on your motherboard if the expansion slots support it.

Q: Can you sli this card and a gtx 1080?

I wouldn't try it. The same driver would have to run both cards and the M4000 is an entirely different chipset.
