I really like this product.. at first we bought the unit that goes on the vent in the car. but being in houston having a vent blocked was not very good. this is nice because you can get it up where you can see it without taking your eyes off the road for long when using navigation on the phone.Also because of the heatin Houston if our phones are left in the holder while we are out of the car they overheat and need to cool down before use. not really the products fault, just a warning..we use cases on our phones and the magnet works with the case on and holds really well.Note: occasionally the nut that holds the head on needs a little tightening once in a while.. can be done by hand, otherwise the head can droop. not a big deal, just need to know to do it.

I really hate car phone holders but this one I actually love. Love love love.When my box arrived it included the phone mount and a few metal plates. 3 to be exact.The mount was super easy to install and to adjust the tightness of magnet. I added one of those metal plates to the inside of the iPhone 6 Plus case and it stuck perfect fine on the holder. The phone didn't fall off during driving.The mount looks like it's going to last unlike my last mount.(different brand).The only thing I'm worried about is the silicone thingy at the bottom of the mount. It has some sticky residue that looks like is going to cause problems later. I really hope it doesn't.I love this product so much that I'm considering buying two more for my other car and for my gf's.

My husband ordered this mainly for his Garmin GPS. It came with a 2nd magnet, so he can use it not only for that, but also for his phone. The magnet is very strong and works nicely. No issues with either device sliding around or coming off. I will caution you that during high heat days the suction cup became soft & would not stay on our car's windshield. It also left a round sticky residue on the windshield during this time. On days when the heat & the sun wasn't unbearably hot, the suction cup worked fine. If you do use it in high temps, say 90 degrees or higher, I would recommend taking the mount off when you are not using it & the vehicle is just sitting. Overall, my husband recommends this product.

I purchased this since the WizGear mount blocked the best outlet in my 2010 Toyota Tacoma. So, given how well that worked (minus positioning), I was more than eager to use the Windshield/Dashboard mount.It arrived via Prime (on time), and it's worked flawlessly since then. The magnets are still secure, and it allows for tightening of the joint once you get the desired direction. I went with a dashboard mount position, since the configuration of my windshield, dashboard, and length of the mount arm put it too far out of reach. Obviously, this will vary based on your vehicle.Anyway, it's been great. I used it for a total of 9 hours during a weekend road trip, and it worked flawlessly. Definitely happy with the purchase, and I would absolutely recommend this to anyone seeking a secure and unobtrusive car mounting option.
