Mega Fun 1/2 Inch Peewee Marbles, Set of 24 Assorted Styles and Colors

I bought this for the reason of doing an experiment through motion sickness. Old sailor's tales (And a couple of them real sailor friends told me this and they swear by it) tell that a sure fire way of conquering sea sickness is putting an aspirin or anything round similar sized object that fits your belly button then tape it with a band aid. My sailor friends even told me that this old wives stales is not only true but they swaer by how effective this is and they even said that even if you're in a boat or ship that they put that boat or ship inside a blender at full power...you won't get motion sickness! I have been a major sufferer of seasickness as far as I remember since was a child and going in boats is a major undertaking...5 minutes after boarding I was blowing chunkc os my lunch! So I bought a couuple of these, put one in my belly button and taped with a band aid ( ithought this was the most ridiculous idea I have ever heard) and went rockcod fishing for 8 hours on a charter boat, 7:00am to 3:00 PM 30 miles offshore catching lingcods cabezons and vermillion colored rockfish. I was already bracing myself for the coming onslaught then came 5 minutes then 10 minutes then 30 minutes....Nothing is happening to me! Whaddaya know...IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!! Now i found my sure cure and I'm passing it and telling everyone put a marble this sized and watch the wonder.

I just needed some marbles as part of a fun gift. Just to joke about them losing their marbles so I had no specific needs around size, color, etc. so it was good enough for me.

I purchased these 1/2" marbles for the game that we have in our class at Sunday School. The other marbles that we had were all too big and wouldn't pass through the tubes but these fly through. Kids are super happy.Received this order in record time and I'm very pleased with this vendor.

The marbles were fine but i got a tiny amout maybe i should have looked more before i bought.

Although these marbles are of decent quality, they are (as the Peewee Marbles name would imply) quite a bit smaller than "regular" marbles that would normally be used in a marbles game. The description says they are 1/2 inch in diameter, but they are closer to 10 millimeters than 13 millimeters. So I took off one star, even though they are very inexpensive.

I need a few tiny spheres to drop into an electric toothbrush brush holder, and these fit just right. The glass also wipes clean when a bit of residue toothpaste collects so for me these are far superior "spacers" perfect for my special need.

We love the smaller pee wee marbles at our house but these are hands-down the ugliest marbles I have ever seen. NOT A SINGLE ONE LOOKS LIKE THE PICTURE. All of them look like second quality factory rejects - as if they were made with whatever leftover glass. Most of them are a nasty bloody red-brown color with some dirty not-quite-white shade smeared in. (Looks like something you'd see on a maxi pad.) One marble arrived broken. I was hoping this would be a cute little bag of pee wees to put in my son's stocking but they arrived looking like crap in a plain ziplock bag that was scratched up and crumpled looking. No printed packaging, no hang tag, NO attempt to make these look presentable at all. I've bought things from garage sales that looked newer and were better packaged.Opt for a different seller. This one is shipping ziplock bags of third and fourth quality reject marbles.

These are smaller than the advertised 1/2". For us it's a problem since we purchased these to use with a MarbleWorks race, which uses marbles that are truly 1/2" diameter. The size difference causes some problems. The smaller marbles can pack together and get jammed in the race if you start several at once--this was never a problem with the MarbleWorks marbles. Also if your race includes a jump, the smaller marbles fly differently and won't necessarily make it to the same landing zone. I was trying to save a few dollars but now wish I had bought the MarbleWorks brand.
