Baumgartens 2-1/8-inch Plastibands (BAUSF5000) Assorted Colors, 200 Pieces

I grew up with an aversion to rubber bands because of latex sensitivities. These are perfect and reusable. They are strong and stretch farther than you’d expect, and they hold up well. Despite the claim of “won’t dry out”, like real rubber bands, they *will* eventually harden and crack (the only reason I’m not still using the original pack I bought years ago), so keep that in mind for long-term use, but even then, they won’t stick to whatever they’re holding together. I use them in the office and the kitchen or anywhere that traditional rubber bands might be needed (like bundling and sorting 30 years worth of photo negatives!). They might seem a little pricey, but they are well worth the convenience, and a godsend if you have latex allergies.

I bought these based on the price and the reviews. They worked out great so far. None of them have broken on me as of yet. They work great for keeping cards together and from sliding all over the place inside a board game box. The 'stretchiness' works somewhat odd in them. They do stretch and retract back to the original size, but it's not super elastic, so it's a little slower. Not sure how to describe it other than that it's similar to a slower moving rubber band? But since it's not quite as easily stretched, it holds more firmly (not so firm that it would cause damage).Overall, I would buy again and would recommend.

These are perfect for board gaming organization. Holds cards and other containers nicely while not causing marring on the edges as much as rubber bands. They don’t deteriorate as much as rubber bands either. Many colors is awesome as well. Thumbs up!!

I really like these little bands, and definitely like them better than elastic / rubber bands. They are remarkably strong and durable. The bright colors are particularly useful for me, I always have one around a roll of dog poop bags and if I drop the band when it's not very light out the color usually stands out against the pavement (or the snow). They don't seem to leave any indentation on whatever they hold, somehow they are gentle yet strong and effective. They are a little thinner than I'd like, but I'm delighted with finding these and much prefer them to the traditional elastic bands, which can feel / smell unpleasant. I do not hesitate to recommend these as a good purchase.

I've had decks of CCG cards held together by rubber bands where the band just decayed over time, ending with rubber all over the cards. Plastibands don't do that. If you care about your cards, use plastibands, not rubber bands.

These are an AWESOME alternative to rubber bands! I am allergic to latex so regular rubber bands aren't an option. These are extremely strong and can be stretched a lot! I used them to hold multiple books together (2 bands crossing) and when I removed the bands they went back to their regular size! They are even better than regular bands (and very fun to watch shrink back up!)

Plastic rubber bands will last far longer than standard rubber bands. I have been using this brand ever since latex became an issue with people who were allergic to latex. They almost never break like standard rubber bands with an added bonus of being latex free. Will buy nothing else & they come in different sizes. Wonderful product!

If you like rubber bands, then you will love these. I'm using them to band US currency and they are PERFECT for this. they lie flat and as a result do not add bulk to my stacks and stacks of money! mmmwhwhhwhwhahahahahah! oh, wait I got sidetracked.The stretch is just fine and although I have yet to have one snap, I've only been using them for a few months. We'll see after a few years how it goes.

Excelente calidad y gama de colores, las usé para hacer este tipo de manualidad con mi hijo. En Pinterest lo hacen con hilo pero con estas ligas de colores se ve diferente.

I expected these to last many years, but most of the bands I've put around decks of cards around a year ago have perished and lost their elasticity. After perishing they are slightly sticky but not as much as a regular rubber band. They haven't damaged any of the cards but I hoped they would have lasted much longer.

The only elastic I can find that doesn't oxidise or break down rapidly under ultraviolet light. However, for me in the UK, they are almost prohibitively expensive. I wish there was a UK agent who imported them in bulk so as to be able to re-sell them without the cost overhead of transatlantic postal rates.
