Kangaroo Hillcrest ABX Electric Golf Cart with Remote Control

Two broken plastic connectors on the Z Box, a broken wiring harness in the handle, the metal pin coming out on the axle, 2 trips backs to North Carolina and now a grinding sound coming from the gears. All stopped! Only 2 years old. People were very nice at Kangaroo but the cart was awful. I’ve taken it to the local county disposal plant and replaced it with an MCI cart.

I bought a new one from the factory. Had to return it at my expense after 6 rounds because it was making a noise. Worked fine for a couple of weeks then the autobrake quit working. The factory sent me a new controller. Problem solved. Happily playing golf when it quit after 9 holes. Either the 4 month old battery or charger is bad. I have less than 10 rounds on this cart because I haven’t been able to play due to my wife’s health. That’s unfortunate but not Kangaroo’s doing. But the lemon product is Kangaroo’s problem. I’m going to sell it, take my loss and go back to enjoying golf with my old pull cart.

My wife gave me a Kangaroo Remote control golf caddie in 2005. I play a minimum of 2 days a week and have had very little maintenance . It is sturdy and the front wheel steering makes it more maneuverable than most other caddies, if not all. Batteries last 5 years plus. The original charger still works like new. Highly recommend.

I bought my Kangaroo Hillcrest ABX about 18 months ago, and I am very pleased with the performance I have had when playing on the hilly course that I play. When fully charged, my battery has 13.7 volts, when I finish 18 holes of golf, my battery has 11.7 volts. This Kangaroo Cart is has worked like a top, no problems, great performance.
