This Quart bag is pretty darn good
* Use: Long term storage of foods including Meat - Tri-Tip Roast, Chuck Roast, Round Roast, Hamburger, Cooked Salmon, Sausage, Sliced Meats, Imitation Crab, etc. Veggies - list includes corn, green beans, mixed veggies, potatoes, etc. Eggs (raw), tomato paste and sauce, spaghetti with meat sauce, etc.* Construction: these bags are not 7.4 Mils as advertised, they mic'd out to 6.1 Mil - but that has not made a difference with the performance of this bag. You DO have to inspect each bag for pinholes in the bottom gusset area - but the fail rate is quite low - very acceptable. I like the rounded gusset design which I think makes the bag more reliable with less pinholes created by opening the gusset than other bags.

These are the perfect size
I use these in conjunction with my vacuum pack machine to preserve my food. They come in very handy when meat goes on sale. I buy large packs of various meats then portion them into smaller amounts. I keep these in the freezer so I only have to take out one pack (which is perfect size for my husband and I), no waste of food or money.

Made to Last!
We had a problem with bugs in some of the bags of beans we got from the grocery store and it didn't take long for them to multiply. From now on we are going to transfer the beans into these Mylar bags. The quart bags are the perfect size for the store bought bags and they are made to last. Well worth the money.

Good Bags But No Oxygen Absorbers
Lovely bags. I looked at so many and they all had oxygen absorbers that came with. Received this final choice, and no these ones didn't, so I had to order separately. Great size.

Thick!
Love these. Nice and thick. Should last at least 20 years if not longer. My thought is to rehydrate the food in the bag when we camp.

Great Mylar bags!
I've never used Mylar bags before. They are super easy to work with. It's great having the labels included. It made my experience fun and easy. Can't wait to prepare more foods for long term food storage.

Durable
Good size for ease of packing, very durable, great value. The only "complaint" is more of a critique to be prepped for, since it is thicker material it's a little harder to heat seal. Takes higher temp and a little more time. But really, if I have to spend an extra 10 seconds per bag sealing a more durable container for 30 year use, I'm fine with it.
