Malty Assam, 1 Lb

I love tea, black, green, and herbal. I was enticed by it's named, and had hoped it would be as scrumptious as it sounds. I was imaging it to be bold, well balanced, not to tannic, smooth, round and malty. It met my expectations. I've had Assam, but never malty. There may be other premium brands that are better than this, however, I think it's decent, especially being an organic bulk tea at such a reasonable price.

I enjoy assam tea and this is a good one.

It is not the maltiest assam but it sure is good. Will be buying more for sure.

I had been buying a different brand of loose Assam tea and thought I would try this one. I love the full flavor with very low bitterness of Assam and this one does not disappoint. However it does seem a bit milder than the Davidson brand.

A hearty, malty, smooth, non bitter Assam. Not as malty or as sweet as a Pu-erh, but enough malt for that hearty full mouth taste. A good breakfast tea that ends on a brisk note. I love that it is organic. Very affordable and best value for the price.

I like the flavor of this tea. It is not as malty as I expected.
