Saved my home when water tank blew
I bought Flood Sax after a hurricane to have on hand in case of emergency. I'm so glad I did. About 6 months after I bought them, our hot water tank had a major leak and water was all over the basement. I opened the FloodSax, put them down wherever it was wet, and within 30 minutes the water was completely contained. The damage would certainly have been worse if not for this amazing product.

FloodSax Sandless Sandbag
What an outstanding product - these bags actually saved my first floor from major flooding. When Hurricane Matthew hit my home was surrounded by water, fortunately the water went down just inches before entering the house. When Hurricane Florence was headed my way I knew I had to try anything to keep the water out of the house. Ordered the bags and received them in less than a week. The bags arrived, put them around the house that day, then evacuated the house for three weeks. Upon returning discovered no water entered the house, but the sandless sandbags were totally full of water. Don't know how well they will hold up on a second or third use, but they paid for themselves on the first use in my opinion. When new these bags are light weight and easy to handle. When filled with water they are heavy. Highly recommend these bags and I will definitely be ordering more.

Only one time use!
They did the trick & absorbed water from flooding. However, when they started to dry they are leaking a substance that is not water. These were not used in chlorine or salt water. These are very expensive for one time use & it is advertised for more than one use. Cannot find a way to contact seller- there is not a place to contact in order section. Very frustrating!

Worked
Yes - they worked - the only draw back was they are not reusable - they are heavy and you have to throw them away. They are slimy after use and Getting them to the street for the trash is not easy- when you are 80 that is a chore (see what I mean) - I really can't complain for they did the job.

Great Product
If I had to sum up in one word: effective. I have had a flooding issue in a small room near the pool. We get torrential rains in Florida and sometimes the drainage system cannot handle. I have tried sand bags as well as another flood type barriers that just did not work. These 'pillows' are the real deal. They are super adsorbent and have completely solved my problem. I have two of them inside and I do notice a bit of residue on the floor if they have been engaged however that sure beats lugging the shop vac every time it rains.

Extremely happy with FloodSax
I was very happy with this product. FloodSax kept the water out of my sunroom and garage during hurricane Dorian, I stacked them 2 layers high (using 20 bags total). I am hoping they will hold up in place, so I can use them through the end of hurricane season in November. I will definitely buy them again next year, as I live about 18 miles outside of Charleston and deal with the storms every year.

Floats away...
Great in theory, but fails in application. Our house recently flooded and the flood sax were supposed to keep plastic tarps in place. They floated away as the water rose. I have like 40 of these useless things, anyone want them cheap?

Water protection
Sort review, it works great, but it will take time to dry up for second use.
