Déception
l'odeur du produit n'est pas celui duquel je m'attendais, tel qu'autrefois lorsqu'il y avait la boutique de Laura Ashley à Montréal dans les années 80! Dommage, je suis décue...

Not the same. Do not buy.
In 1991, my first job at age 15 was working at a movie theater for $5/hour near the mall. I thought it such a glamorous job because my uniform was a nice crisp white shirt and black slacks. During my break, I'd head to the mall and sample all the perfumes. Laura Ashley #1 was my favorite. It was light and sweet and floral and didn't give me a headache. I saved up and bought a bottle. I think it was $70 then. Shared my expensive perfume with my friends who loved it too. I was heartbroken when it was discontinued. So excited to see this listed on Amazon. Had no idea anyone still made it. Got it today and it is NOT the smell I remember and wore. Instead of being light and sweet and floral, this is musky and pungent and stinks. I've scrubbed my wrist with plenty of soap and water but can't get the smell off and now I have a splitting headache. Will be returning.Edit: apparently, you can't return it. Because it's marked as hazard or a flammable or something. Had to give it away in my BuyNothing group.Do not buy!

NOT Laura Ashley… at all.
I bought this inexpensive body wash so I could remind myself of the sweet fragrance I used to use back in middle and high school. I wish I could share the smell with you. It doesn’t even begin to remind me of the smell of Laura Ashley no. 1. It smells like cheap musky shampoo. I’ll likely throw it out. It’s either ancient and expired or a complete fake. So sad.

pleasant smell but doesn't last
As lovely as the scent is, for some reason it dissipates very quickly. You spray it on, you smell nice, and then, literally within a half hour -- nothing. And I mean, absolutely nothing. It's marketed as a body mist spray, so maybe the manufacturer thinks it's okay to water it down. I generally use colognes (not perfumes which are meant to be stronger), but this product doesn't hold up at all, no matter what they call it, and I don't think it's worth the price.
