This is a beautiful reliquary with a bright gold finish over brass. It is well crafted and heavy. Perfect for any precious relic on display.

Shipping and design are great. I've ordered 3 reliquaries from Sudbury and although they're beautiful from the front, they're not put together well in the back. The reliquary box on 2 are welded lopsided -off center. I returned one and another off center was sent. It's off center so you can see the box from the front. The third reliquary I purchased is a small one. The closure for the reliquary does not fit so I had to close it the best I could. All three reliquaries are defective. The company must be having difficulty with their quality control process.

I will have to return the item as the hinge is crooked/cheap and the door won't stay closed defeating the purpose of the item to hold a relic.

It’s a very nice relic holder but could be better if they don’t sent me a damaged one with scratches on the glasses and inside the glass too!

This thing is solid and heavy, as it should be. A rustic, no frills reliquary. The inside opening is pretty big, especially if, like in my case, you have a smaller relic (mine is under 2”), so what I did was position the relic where I wanted it before stuffing red felt in and around it to hold it in place.
